After a long, hearty chat and many disagreements, everyone was ready to go back now. Everyone had basically forgotten about their curiosity for Kazama's school and he honestly couldn't ask for more.
"I will be taking my leave, Shin-sama." Ai stood up and looked at Shinnosuke, waiting for an answer, perhaps a request for her to stay.
"Hoi~." Shinnosuke nonchalantly replied, making Ai a bit disappointed but she nodded nonetheless.
Everyone else was also getting ready to leave. Ai looked at Nene and spoke, "Nene-chan, I will drop you off at your home."
"What?" Nene turned abruptly. Others also showed a sign of surprise. This was a first.
"Let's go together." Ai replied. Nene scoffed and took her bag.
"I would rather not embarrass myself again. Thank you." She muttered in a cold tone and walked past Ai. Masao tried to follow after Nene.
He had not spoken a word to others since they got there, being too busy staring at Ai. He did, however, try various ways to please her, as he always did. From offering to refill her cup to asking if she needed an extra sitting cushion. Ai, being too busy staring at Shinnosuke to notice him, ignored Masao. Truthfully, it didn't make Masao feel bad at all. After all, the times Ai gave any attention to him at all were extremely rare. He wanted to ask Ai for a ride home but seeing Nene storm off like that, he had no choice but to abandon his pursuit and go after her. He did however greet Ai before exiting the room as well.
"Nene-chan can be so scary sometimes." Shinnosuke whispered to Kazama, shivering at the thought of Nene's anger being directed towards him.
"Well, would you two like me to drop you off?" Ai asked turning towards Kazama and Bo who were the only ones left to go home.
"Actually, I have something to do, so you can go ahead. Thank you." Kazama replied with a formal smile.
"And you, Suzuki-san?" Ai turned towards Bo.
"I would appreciate it if you could drop me off." Bo said taking his bag. Ai nodded.
"Rest well, Shin-sama. I will expect to see you at school tomorrow." She said finally, smiling, "Good night, Shin-sama." Shinnosuke nodded and greeted her back.
Only when both Bo and Ai were gone, did Kazama realise that he was alone with Shinnosuke. Well, Misae was in the kitchen but still.
"Where is Hima-chan." Kazama asked first, somehow hoping to ease out the fact that he was alone with him.
"She is probably sleeping like a log. She does when she is sick." Shinnosuke replied scratching his head yawning.
"Oh, I actually had to give you this." Kazama said as he rummaged through his bag to find the homework from school that he planned to give him. Even if Shinnosuke would probably never do it, he considered it a habit to bring him homework.
Suddenly, Shinnosuke held his arm just as Kazama was about to pull the notebook out.
"Let's go." He said.
"What?" Kazama asked confused, taken aback by the gesture.
"Let's go to my room." Shinnosuke repeated.
"Oh it won't take long. I just have to give you this-"
"It's okay, it's okay." Shinnosuke assured, not particularly listening to what Kazama was saying. He stood up and pulled Kazama up with him as well.
"Misae! Me and Kazama-kun are going upstairs!" He yelled and asked Kazama to follow him up, which he did with reluctance.
"Don't call me by my name Shinnosuke!" Misae yelled but couldn't come out of the kitchen as she was cooking dinner. Meanwhile, Shinnosuke and Kazama went upstairs to his room.
"Go in." Shinnosuke asked Kazama to go first and he followed after, closing the door behind him.
"So, what I was saying is-" Kazama was cut off when Shinnosuke came closer, making Kazama stumble back.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Kazama stammered as Shinnosuke grabed his shoulders and pushed him down with force, making him sit on his bed with a thump. Kazama's bag slipped down, spilling some school supplies over the floor.
"It's been so long, Kazama-kun." Shinnosuke said in low voice, looking at him with hungry eyes, to which Kazama shuddered.
"W-What are you t-talking about?!" He panicked and tried to get up, only to be pushed by Shinnosuke back into the bed, this time with Shinnosuke's leg on the bed too.
"You aren't going anywhere." Shinnosuke whispered as he kept hold of Kazama and turned towards his desk to find something. Kazama didn't fail to take this opportunity to get up from his bed for safety reasons. He tried to escape Shinnosuke when he was abruptly pulled back by his arm.
"I told you, don't go. Let's play!" Shinnosuke stood there, grinning with two gaming consoles in his hand. Kazama stared at the consoles then back at him.
"You... wanted to play?" Kazama mumbled in disbelief. Shinnosuke nodded innocently.
"You just wanted to play?" Kazama asked again, this time with a louder voice.
"Uh, yeah?" Shinnosuke spoke confused.
Then as if he had realised something, he blurted, "Oh wait! Could it be... you thought that I was doing something else?" He smirked coming closer to Kazama."N-No? I didn't think of anything!" Kazama fumbled, his ears turning red. He certainly didn't think anything weird, just a bit dirty.
"Kazama-kun, you pervert!" Shinnosuke accused dramatically, with his hand on his mouth and his pinky finger lifted up, his signature hand pose. Kazama felt even more flustered.
"I told you I didn't think anything!" Kazama shouted, trying to prove himself innocent, to which Shinnosuke only laughed hysterically.
"I didn't know... that Kazama-kun is sooo dirty minded~" He said in between his laugh.
"Shut up and give me the console." He ordered, snatching the console from the hand of a laughing Shinnosuke. He knew it was no use trying to prove himself to Shinnosuke, he probably wouldn't believe him.
"What are we playing?" He asked turning towards Shinnosuke.
Shinnosuke smiled as he wiped a tear from his eye and said,
"Whatever you decide."
