"Absolute rubbish!" Pansy snapped at Blaise and he scowled.
"Please. You have no idea what you're on about" he retorted.
They continued to bicker as I snuggle up to Draco.
"Slytherins are such sensitive babies. So defensive" I mumble and earn myself a scowl from the pair before they continue.
"Watch your mouth sweetheart. Remember which slytherin baby you're talking to" Draco whispers in my ear.
"I rest my case" I giggle and roll my eyes. He lifts his hand to cup my jaw and tilt my face towards him.
"You're on a bit of a bratty streak at the moment, aren't you?"
"Hmm, hadn't noticed. Maybe it has something to do with you waking me up early" I tease, prodding his chest.
"Mhm. Whatever pretty baby, just be good" he whispers, trailing kisses from beneath my ear to the nape of my neck. "For your sake I won't mark you up before we meet your parents" he smirks against me and I let out a little huff.
"Doesn't bother me" I whisper.
"Well it bothers me. Get a room" Pansy mock gags and I blush. I momentarily forgot that we were in a compartment with those two.
I go to stand up to get off his lap but Draco drags me back down.
"Just stay there a minute" he growls low in my ear and I blush again as the realisation dawns on me. I choke on a cough but settle back down. A moment or so later he lifts me by the waist and places me next to him.
"Okay there Draco?" Blaise asks knowingly with a smirk and Draco just flips him off and rolls his eyes.
"I'm going to go and track the cart down. Any of you want anything?" Draco asks, standing up and grabbing his wallet.
"I'll come with you" Blaise mumbles standing up.
"Pumpkin juice and a chocolate frog?" Draco asks me and I nod.
"Yes please" I say as he leans down to kiss my forehead
"Pans? Anything?" He asks.
"Uh same as for Liz if that's alright" she says sleepily and he nods, ruffling her hair and she bats him away.
The boys go off to get the snacks and Pansy narrows her eyes at me.
"You're nervous" she states blankly.
"No I'm not" I huff and she just narrows her eyes further.
"You're fidgeting all over the place. I half expect your wand to snap if you play with it anymore" she notes and I stop twirling it around. "What are you nervous about?"
"Nothing" I mumble and she rolls her eyes before coming to sit next to me.
"Liar. Spill" she says but it's practically an order.
"I don't know really. Sometimes my family can be a bit, intense" I say, fiddling with my wand again.
"Mm that makes sense. I wouldn't worry too much though. I'm sure they'll be on their best behaviour and I've already warned Draco that if he's ridiculous I'll find out and thrash him at our next quidditch practice" she smiles as I laugh at that and she holds my hands to stop me from twiddling around with my wand. We stay like that whilst we wait until the boys come back.
"Everything okay?" Draco asks, handing us the snacks.
"Yep. Just trying to steal her away from you" Pansy teases and winks at me.
