"You're so mean" I whine, frowning up at him as he places another book in front of me.
"Mm, I'm the meanest. Now get your work done or no hogsmeade trip this weekend." He scolds and I pout up at him defiantly.
"Technically, you can't stop me from going" I smirk.
"First of all, technically, I can by physically means or just talking to the professors. Second of all do you really want to face the consequences of disobeying me?"
"I suppose not" I frown, opening the book. "Especially not since you made me write lines. That wasn't even a little bit fun."
"Punishments aren't supposed to be fun, princess. They're punishments for a reason."
"Well I think it's stupid" I mumble as I take notes.
"Well unfortunately for you, you're not the one in charge, so just be a good girl and get your work done for me." he says firmly followed by a knock in the door. "Come in, it's open." He calls and Pansy strolls in and looks over at me with a pitying smile.
"He's forcing me to make notes" I whine and she chuckles as she comes over to ruffle my hair.
"You poor little pet, having to deal with him!" she teases and he rolls his eyes and sighs at her. "You could always use an enchanted quill. It gets it done quicker, you know."
"You will not ever use an enchanted quill, Elizabeth. That's cheating and we shouldn't encourage that." Draco frowns, crossing his arms over his chest. "Don't be a bad influence, Pans"
"You're no fun. It would make my life so, so much easier!" I pout over at him and he shakes his head. "Boring little man. I wouldn't have done it anyway but if I did then it would have been iconic."
"Poor little princess." He mocks. "You need to get your work done, now. I was serious when I gave you a warning about Hogsmeade"
I huff as I turn back to make notes and listen to the two of them talk about drama in their classes.
"Yeah I know! Apparently Romilda was trying to trick him into taking a love potion she'd brewed but they aren't going to punish her for it. I think they need to because it's literally disregarding consent but this school has been going downhill for years. Besides, she's in Gryffindor and we all know that Dumbledore has a very peculiar obsession with that house. Harry could murder the entire school and Dumbledore would reward him." Pansy muses as I finish up my notes.
"I don't like the bot but that's disgusting, what happened to free will?" Draco grimaces as I get up from the desk. "Have you finished your work?"
"Yes, dad. It's all done" I mock and he holds a hand out so he can look over it. I roll my eyes but hand it to him and watch his face as he checks over it, scanning for errors.
"Good girl" he praises, handing it back to me and then waiting until I put it away and back in my bag to pull me onto his lap for a cuddle.
"You two are so soppy. It's adorable but also absolutely sickening." Pansy smiles.
"Well, we do make a conscious effort." I mock and she pokes her tongue out at me.
"Should we go down to dinner then?" She says, changing the subject.
We make our way down to the great hall and I sit at the slytherin table as usual between Draco and Pansy.
