Chapter ten

Rook's point of view

"Morning sunshine" Dani grinned, walking into my room and putting a cup of coffee on my bedside locker and sitting on the bed beside me. "Good morning beautiful" I grinned, pulling her on top of me. "Someone's in a good mood this morning" She laughed, resting her arms on my shoulders and playing with my hair.

"Only because I got to wake up to a beautiful view" I grinned, resting my hands either side of her waist and pulling her into me. "You're such a flirt" She said, looking down at me and smiling. Fucking hell she's so beautiful. "Only when I need to be" I said, pulling her in for a kiss.

"God, I fucking love you" I said, pulling back and looking up at her. "I love you too" She said, placing a kiss on my forehead. "Wrong head you're kissing" I winked. "You're disgusting" She laughed. "But you love me" I grinned. "That I do babe, that I do" She smiled.

"Are you excited to go back to touring?" She asked. "I am but I'm gonna miss you" I said. "Our tour dates will cross over at times and we can visit each other every now and then" She said. "Plus there's FaceTime" She added. "I know but it won't be the same" I said.

"I love you" I smiled, kissing her. "I love you too" She said. "So, I was thinking" I said. "That's never a good idea" She teased. "Shut up you" I laughed. "What were you thinking about anyways?" She asked, resting her head on my chest and looking up at me. "After tour finishes, we should go away" I said.

"I like that idea" She smiled. "Where should we go?" I asked. "Where would you like to go?" I said. "Maybe Hawaii or Bali" She replied. "Or Bora Bora" She added. "Anywhere you want baby" I smiled, kissing her. "Daddy! Can we go to the playground today?" My daughter said, jumping on the bed. "Of course we can baby" I smiled.

I was woken up by a loud thud. I had the most realistic dream about having a family with Dani and I kinda liked the idea of it. "What the fuck Kiana!" I heard Dani shout, followed by some laughter. "Dani, are you okay?" I shouted. "Yeah, I'm good" She laughed, walking into my room and flopping on the bed and resting her head on my torso.

"What happened?" I asked as Kiana walked in too. "Kiana just came out of nowhere and jumped on me" Dani explained. "I got a fright and fell to the floor" She added. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just got a fright" She laughed. "I'm okay too Rook, thanks for asking" Kiana laughed, jokingly rolling her eyes.

"Oh, you're here too" I joked, wrapping my arm around Dani. "I'll give you two some privacy, I only came to check on Dani anyways" Kiana said. "Text me when you get home" Dani said, standing up and hugging her. "Will do babe. Bye Rook, bye Dani" She said before leaving.

"How you feeling?" Dani asked, lying back down beside me. "I'm good, I'm happy to be home" I said. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "The guys are at the studio and Megan is with them I think or she had interviews I'm not too sure" She said.

"So it's just us here for the day?" I asked. "Yeah, I have some meetings with the label about my own tour but I can just ring them on FaceTime or something so that you're not alone cause I know Kells is gonna be gone for the day" She said.

"You don't have to do that, I'll be okay" I said. "No, it's okay. I don't want to leave you here alone" She said. "You're not gonna take no for an answer are you?" I laughed. "You should know what I'm like by now" She laughed. "Well thank you" I smiled.

"Anything for you" She smiled. "I had the most vivid dream last night" I said. "We were back together and talking about tour cause Kells was on tour again and you were going on your own tour. We were planning on going on holiday when we finished touring" I said.

"We had a daughter and she looked exactly like you" I added. "Really?" She asked. "That's cute" She added. "I'm happy we sorted things out" I said. "Me too, I missed you" She said. "I missed you too" I said. "Your piercings really suit you. I like your new look" I added.

"Thank you" She laughed. "I don't know about you but I am starving" I said. "Yeah, I'm a bit hungry too" She replied. "Wanna order dominos?" She asked. "You know me so well" I laughed. "Of course I do, we've known each other the last nine years" She laughed.

"Best nine years of my life" I smiled. "That funny, it's been the worst nine years of mine" She laughed. "Well that hurt" I pouted. "Aw, poor you" She smiled. "Foods ordered" She added. "So when you back in for physio?" She asked. "Next week I think" I said, grabbing my phone to check my appointment date.

Dani's point of view

"If I'm not doing anything, I'll bring you" I smiled. "Thank you" Rook said, placing a kiss on my forehead. "So, what's the plan for today?" I asked, looking up at him. "I don't know about you but I think I'm in the mood for dancing or maybe a jog" He laughed.

"Maybe a hike?" I joked. "Sounds like a plan" He laughed. "I missed this" I said. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Like just chilling with you and laughing" I asked. "Like old times" I added. "Yeah, I missed it too" Rook replied. "I'm glad we're able to hang like this, despite everything that happened" He added.

"Yeah me too" I said as the door bell rang. I ran downstairs and answered the door, only to see Tiffani. "Well look who it is" I said. "Is the pizza here?" Rook shouted. "Not yet" I shouted in reply. "What do you want?" I asked, looking at Tiffani. "I'm here to see Rook" She said, trying to cut past me.

"See now, what we're not gonna do is that. He doesn't want to see you so if I were you I'd just leave before you embarrass yourself more" I said, blocking her from coming in. "And if I were you I'd let me in" She threatened. "Aw, you think you scare me. How cute" I laughed.

"If you don't leave I'll get you arrested for trespassing" I said. "This isn't over. I'm going to get him back" She said. "Oh Tanya, but it is. I've won and there's nothing that you can do about it" I smirked. "Bye bye now" I winked, tipping the pizza guy before closing the door.

"What took so long?" Rook asked as I walked back into his room. "Wicked bitch of the west was at the door. She wanted to see you, then threatened me cause I wouldn't let her in to see you" I said. "What did she want?" He asked. "She wants you back" I said, eating some pizza.

"I don't blame her, I'm irresistible" He winked, eating some pizza. "Oh yeah, definitely" I laughed. "You're so irresistible I'm finding it so hard to keep my hands off you" I added, rolling my eyes. "I know you want me" He smirked. "I could say the same for you" I replied.

"Why don't you come over and find out" He smirked. "You wish I would" I replied. "Maybe I do" He said. "But that's for me to know and you to find out" He added. Once we finished the pizza, we cleaned up and made our way down stairs. "Wanna watch a movie?" I asked.

"I don't mind" Rook replied. "What happened to your meetings?" He asked. "I rescheduled them so you weren't gonna be home alone today" I said. "You really didn't have to, I would've been fine" He said. "I know but still, you would've been alone all day and I didn't want that" I said.

"Thank you, I appreciate it" He smiled. "Now, get your beautiful ass over here" He added. "What movie will we watch?" I asked, cuddling into him. "Any movie you want gorgeous" He said, kissing my forehead. Maybe there was hope for us getting back together after all.

"How about Grease?" I asked. "If that's what you want" He smiled. "What's going on here?" Megan asked as her and Kells walked in. "We we're watching a movie and I guess we fell asleep" I said, sitting up and stretching. "That's so cute" Megan smiled, sitting across from Rook and I.

"Where's the rest?" I asked. "They went to the club" Kells said, sitting down. "Why didn't you two join them?" Rook asked. "We went for dinner instead" Kells said. "It good to have date nights every now and then" Rook said. "So Dani, your birthdays coming up soon" Kells said.

"Any plans for it?" He asked. "It's not for another month" I laughed. "I don't know, I might just have a party" I added. "Your parties are always so extravagant" Rook said. "Go big or go home" I grinned. "I think that you should have a themed party" Megan said. "She has a themed party every year" Kells said, laughing a little. "To be fair, how was Megan to know that" I said.
