Chapter twelve

Dani's point of view

I woke up the next morning, cuddled into Rook. "Happy fucking birthday!" Kells shouted, busting into my room, the rest following behind him. "Thank you guys" I laughed, sitting up and stretching. "We didn't interrupt anything, did we?" Slim asked, looking between Rook and I.

"No, you didn't interrupt anything" I laughed. "We we're just sleeping" I added. "Yeah, sleeping" Baze winked. "We were just sleeping, don't worry" Rook laughed. "Nothing happened between Dani and I" He added.

"We'll just leave your presents here and you know, give you two some privacy" Kells said before they all left. "Thank you" I shouted as Ashleigh closed the door. "They're unbelievable" I laughed, lying back down. "Happy birthday gorgeous" Rook smiled, pulling me in for a hug.

"Thank you" I smiled. "I missed waking up to your ugly face every morning" I teased, looking up at him. "I could say the same for you" He smirked. "You can't be mean to me, it's my birthday" I grinned. "Shut up" He laughed. "Or what" I replied. "That's for me to know and you to find out" He winked.

"You're gonna be like that, are you?" I said, resting my hands on the on the back of his neck. Fuck, I really want to kiss him right now. "So, are you gonna tell me what you're dressing up as tonight or are you still going to make me wait?" He asked.

"You're just gonna have to wait and see" I smiled, playing with his hair. "You're really gonna be like that, are you?" He said, mocking me. "Shut up" I laughed. "Make me" He whispered, smirking. "Unless you're just all talk" He added, leaning in closer.

"Or what'll you do about it" I whispered, pulling him even closer to me. "You'll have to find out wont you" He smirked. "As much as I'm enjoying this right now, I have to get ready for tonight" I said, moving over and sitting up. "You're such a tease" He laughed, sitting beside me.

"You love me though" I grinned, drinking some water. "I'm gonna get dressed, I'll see you in a few" I said, standing up and grabbing some cycling shorts and a hoodie. "I'll see you later beautiful" He said, kissing my cheek before leaving the room.

Once I was dressed, I met Megan and Ashleigh in the living room and we left to get Kiana before going to the salon to get our hair and nails done for tonight. "Happy birthday bitch!" Kiana shouted, getting into the car. "Thanks babe" I grinned, driving to the salon.

After we had all gotten our hair and nails done, I dropped Kiana back to her house before driving home. "This place looks so good!" I shouted as the girls and I walked into the house. The boys were in charge of getting everything set up while we were getting our hair and nails done.

There was a dj booth and pop up bar out the backyard by the pool, different props and photos ops scattered all over the place. "Glad you like it" Kells said, pulling me in for a hug. "I love it" I smiled, hugging the rest of the guys as there was a knock on the door.

"Hey Indie! Thank you so much again for coming on such short notice" I said, opening the door. "Anything for my favourite client" She smiled. Indie was the makeup artist I booked for everything award show, every big event, my tour, literally anything. "Where should I set up?" She asked.

"Just over there, there should be enough room for your lights and everything" Kells said. "So who's makeup am I doing first?" She asked once she was all set up. "Dani should go last since it's her party" Ashleigh said. "I don't mind, I want to have a quick shower anyways to wash the excess tan off" I said.

"You go shower and get your makeup done last, we'll sort out who's going when down here" Megan said. "Sounds good" I said before making my way upstairs to go for a shower. Since I only got my hair done, I put a shower cap on and just had a quick body shower and shaved.
