Chapter two

Dani's point of view

We were all woken up early the next morning by Ashleigh, with the help of Ashton, so we could get everything together and leave for the first day of tour. "Morning babe" Megan grinned, hugging me as I walked downstairs. "Morning" I grinned. "Is everyone ready to leave?" Ashleigh asked. Once everyone was ready, we boarded the mini bus and headed to the airport to go to Vegas where we were kicking off the tour.

Seeing Rook and Tiffani together really hurt me but I wasn't going to let it get me down and stop me from making memories with my friends during the tour. "So Dani" Tiffani said. "How do you know Rook? I don't think we had the chance to meet last night" She said. "Oh, uh, I've known Rook since he became Kells drummer years ago" I said. "Wait, you're his ex too aren't you?" She asked. "Yup" I said. "No offence but I wasn't expecting, well, you" She said, looking me up and down.

"I expected someone who would at least be a little bit of competition" She added. "Say what you want about me" I shrugged. "At least I'm not a trust fund baby and a pretentious asshole like you" I added before getting up and walking towards the front of the plane. "You okay?" Kells asked, sitting beside me. "I was until little bimbo barbie had to join us on tour" I said. "I just want to know why I wasn't good enough for him" I sighed. "Nah, you were too good for him" He said. "And eventually he's gonna realise what he's lost and how much he fucked up" He added.

"Is everything okay back here?" Megan asked, sitting beside Kells. Soon enough, everyone bar Rook and Tiffani had joined us at the front lounge area. "Right, I'm gonna call Rook down. We need to have a quick briefing before tour properly begins" Ashleigh said. Once Rook, and of course Tiffani, joined us, Ashleigh began to give us the run down on how the tour was being run. "So Dani and Jaden, you two are our opening acts for the tour. You both get 5 songs each so I need you to let the tech crew once you have decided" She said. "Jaden, you'll be on first. Then Dani will go on roughly about 5/10 minutes after you finish your set" She added. "Sounds good" I said and Jaden nodded.

"Bus A is the performers and band members only, no exceptions, except for when Casie joins us" Ashleigh said. "Buses B and C are for crew and anyone else joining us on tour" She added, looking at Tiffani. "You can go out after each show, do whatever y'all want to but you need to be at the venue for sound check or on the bus by the time we're leaving the next day. Is everyone okay with that?" Ashleigh asked and everyone nodded bar Tiffani. "I don't feel comfortable leaving Rook alone with Dani, especially because they used to be a couple" She said. "Well then leave if you don't like the rules" Ashleigh said. "Then again, he did dump her for me and there's no real competition between me and her" Tiffani replied.

"Taylor, can you please just shut the fuck up" Kells groaned. "Its Tiffani" She huffed. "Tiffani, Trisha, Taylor, I couldn't give a fuck what your name is and neither can anyone else" He sighed. "You've been unnecessarily rude to Dani and if you don't stop I'm gonna make you leave" He said. The rest of the plane ride to Vegas was extremely quiet. As soon as we landed, we were straight onto the tour bus and on the way to the venue for sound check. "Can we run Ain't It Fun real quick?" I said to my band as I walked on stage for sound check. "You killed it out there like always Dani" Kells grinned as I walked off stage once I was finished sound check. "Thanks Kells" I smiled, lighting up a blunt. The EST boys, Megan and I chilled in the bleachers while Jaden was rehearsing his set.

"So do you think there'll ever be a time that you and Rook will be on good terms again?" Slim asked. "I don't know, maybe eventually yeah but not right now" I said, looking over at Rook who was whispering something to the she devil. "It hurts too much to even look at him" I said, looking back at Slim and Baze. Once everyone was finished soundcheck it was time to get ready for the opening show of the tour. "Vegas! How y'all feeling tonight" I shouted as I made finished my first song in my set. "Who's excited for Machine Gun Kelly!" I grinned, putting my mic in the mic stand as the crowd screamed. "So for those of you that don't know my, I'm Dani" I laughed.

"Vegas! Y'all have been fucking amazing tonight. Thank you so much!" I grinned as I finished singing the final song of my set. "You were so good tonight!" Megan smiled, hugging me. "Thank you" I grinned. Megan, Ashleigh, Tiffani, Jaden and I sat by the side of the stage and watched the boys perform. "How good does Rook look" Tiffani said. "I can't wait for him to bang me like he's banging them drums later" She added. "We really didn't need to nor want to know that" Megan said. "Just thought Dani might want to know" Tiffani shrugged. "I'm gonna kill her" I whispered to Megan. As it got closer to Kells performing Forget me Too, one of the tech crew came over to mic me up so I could go perform with him.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my best friend and little sis, Dani!" Kells said as I walked onto the stage and sang my verse in Forget Me Too before we transitioned into Bad Things. After we finished performing the two songs, I gave Kells a hug and made my way off stage. After the show was finished, we headed out to celebrate a successful first show. "I just wanna say a quick thank you to everyone for pulling off a fucking great show tonight" Kells said as we all raised our glasses. After a while, Megan dragged me to the dance floor with her and we danced for a while, the boys joining us eventually. "I'm gonna go get a drink, I'll be back in a second" I shouted over the music before making my way to the bar.

"Hey there" A guy around my age said as I waited to get served. "Hey" I smiled before giving the bartender my order. "Can I just say, you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" He smiled. "I'm Harrison" He said. "Dani" I smiled. "Nice to meet you Dani" He said. "You too" I said. "So, Dani, what has you in Vegas?" He asked. "I'm currently on tour at the moment. Tonight was the first show" I said as the bartender handed me my Malibu and Coke. "You're a singer?" He asked. "I am indeed" I grinned. "That's sick!" He said. "I'm gonna go back to my friends, I'll see you around" I said before placing a kiss on his cheek and walking towards VIP. "Who was that?" Megan teased.

"Just some guy" I laughed. "It doesn't matter" I added. "He seemed into you, you should go for it" Ashleigh said. "You think?" I asked. Rook looked like he was ready to explode, it was quite amusing to watch him get more and more annoyed the more Megan, Ashleigh and I talked about Harrison. As the club started to shut, we made our way towards the tour bus. "I'll see you tomorrow" Megan said, giving Kells a kiss before getting onto a separate bus. "Man, what a night" I said, flopping onto one of the couches in the front lounge area. "It was definitely a good start to the tour" Slim said as Kells lay on me. "Kells you fat bastard" I laughed. "Get your fat skinny lanky streak of misery ass off me before you kill me" I added.

"Say Kells is the best, most sexiest person alive and I will" He said. "Get off me" I groaned, laughing. "Bitch" He joked, standing up. "Hoe" I retorted. We all changed into our pyjamas and made our way to the bunks to get some rest before the next show tomorrow. Around 4am I couldn't sleep so I decided to make myself a cup of tea. "Jesus fucking Christ you scared the shit out of me" I said as I noticed Rook sat in the little booth.

"Sorry" He said. "Tea?" I asked, trying to make things a little let awkward. "Oh, uh, yeah please. If you don't mind" He said, looking at the table. I made the two of us a cup of tea and sat across from him. "So" He said. "So" I replied. "What's going on with you and Jaden?" He asked. "He's a friend but it's not any of your business" I stated simply.
