Otsutsuki Book 2 (Naruto)

Part 3

Chiyoko's Pov 

Everyone but me and him were ordered to go into a waiting booth till it came for their turn. I face the boy and realized that right now he has the upper hand against me. He saw some of my abilities while I know nothing of his and his fighting style! "Darn it" I mumbled just as the battle started, I jumped back putting at least 5 feet between us so that I can dodge and react properly against him. If he's on a team with Itachi then he must have some degree of skill in either, nin, gen, or taijutsu I just have to figure out which it is. "Running away are we?" taunted the boy as I took stance analyzing every little bit of information that I see about his movements and habits. "Not a chance" I said with a cocky smile on my face, I looked towards his appearance dark hair, and dark eyes but not onyx, and there was a clan's symbol on his arm but I couldn't see what it was. 

I made the first move, deciding to see how good his taijutsu was I ran at him throwing multiple punches and kicks all of which he blocked easily 'So he's skilled in taijutsu...' I jumped back and switched to using ninjutsu, I sent a bunch of different type's of low level jutsu's at him to test his abilities, he countered them using only water styled jutsu's causing a smile to etch it's way onto my face 'A water style user....perfect' I didn't feel the need to test his genjutsu abilities seeing as itachi was on his team they would have no need to place another genjutsu user on a team that already had a highly skilled one on there. 

I put a good 4 feet of space between us as he observed me with a sly grin on his face "You think that I wasn't testing you either? man all of those low level jutsu's and soft hits, you should just forfeit while you can" he said a smirk etching its way onto his face 'The only down fall of his will be his mouth...' I grinned noticing that when he talked his defense went down and he almost never talked with his eye's open "Your right....maybe I should just quit....I am only 4 and there's only so much that I can do" I said getting out of stance and putting a finger to my lip as if I was in thought. 

That got him laughing which caused his defense to go down and even better he closed his eye's. Grinning I ran forward and hit the side of his neck causing him to pass out on the ground. "The winner is Fukushima Chiyoko!" announced the ref as I smiled and the crowed cheered. I made my way up to the booth as a sand and stone nin went down for their fights. I saw itachi at the top and grinned at him "You know he should really learn to never drop his guard and when to keep his fat mouth shut" I said while smiling "You did good" said itachi while ruffling my hair and smiling down at me.

That match ended out in a tie which mean's there's one less person between me and itachi having to fight at some point. The next match was between itachi's other team mate and a sand nin, I watched their fight carefully, itachi's team mate won meaning that the next round me and him will be fighting. From what I picked up he seemed to be really good in ninjutsu but pretty weak in genjutsu, that and he has a sprained left ankle so being me I'm already devising a plan. I kept a careful eye on every match that came and went, especially itachi's. I knew that he was going to be my biggest challenge today so I'm trying to not show too many of my move's but at the same time observe him and see what he does. The matches went on for a while and I won each of mine, so did itachi, and it got to the point where there was only one left, Itachi and me. There was an announcement saying that there as going to be a short hour break so that people could go eat and so that me and itachi would have time to catch our breaths. 

During this break I ate some food and started to come up with plan for when I'm fighting against itachi, knowing him through it'll be a tough match. Once the hour was up me and itachi met in the arena as everyone got into their seats. I could tell that most people were excited to see our match, I still haven't done anything major since I had been using my opponents weak points to get an easy victory and a quick one at that so I didn't waste my energy. But itachi is on a whole different level than me, I'll be surprised if I come out of this alive. The ref looked between both me and itachi seeing if we were ready. The match started on his signal, as soon as the match started itachi disappeared from sight.

I got into a defensive stance and took a look around me 'Up.....right......left.....none of those.......so he's down!' I pumped some chakra into my fist and punched the ground causing to break open and lift up in some place's. Itachi jumped out of the ground, his sharingan was blazing. I quickly adverted my eye's to his feet. Gai taught me how to see my opponents next move based on their feet position's. I blocked punches and kicks that were sent flying at me. "Hm looks like my training is finally paying off" I said "And hows that?" asked itachi while sending yet another punch at me "You  haven't gotten a single hit on me yet" I said ducking down and going to sweep at his feet. 

He jumped up falling right into my trap. I jumped up after him sending punches at his body, naturally he blocked them all but was too focused on me to notice my clone's down below. They both made a fireball and sent it towards where me and Itachi were. Just before the fire could hit me I had made a water ball to cancel out the fire that would've burnt me pretty bad. I fell threw the steam that the two jutsu's together had created, as I landed on the ground my clones left, I looked around not seeing itachi anywhere as of the moment. A hand shot out of the ground going for my ankle. I grabbed his wrist and pulled itachi out of the ground and throwing him over my back, he landed on the ground with a thud a second before I had him pinned. Itachi tried to get out of my hold but couldn't shake me. "The winner is Chiyoko Fukushima!" called out the ref as I let itachi go and sat down on the ground beside him panting with a smile on my face. "I won..." I mumbled a goofy smile on my face as the crowed cheered, I saw a hand in front of my face and smiled taking it as itachi pulled me up "You did good" he said "Thanks" I say. Itachi ruffled my hair as I swatted his hand away whining about him messing up my hair. 

I noticed a man who looked older than itachi coming up with a woman and a boy who looked to be my age. The man didn't look all that happy with itachi "Hey sempai you didn't just let me win did you?" I asked just as the people came into hearing range "Wish I could say that I did, but you beat me fair and square....I still can't believe that your just a kid" he muttered the last part as I smiled "Well my sensei's made me train everyday, other than holiday's and it was always from 7 in the morning till 7 at night" I say "Who are your sensei's?" asked itachi "Gai's my taijutsu sensei, then asuma and kakashi teach me ninjutsu but I don't have a genjutsu teacher just yet" I said but shrugged at the end. "Hey maybe you could teach me genjutsu! I heard that uchiha's are suppose to be really good with them" I say excited  making itachi chuckle and ruffle my hair just as the family and gramps came up to us. "Gramps" I called out with a big smile "You did good chiyoko, better than I expected" he said. I took off my head band to hand it back to him but he stopped me saying that it was mine to keep. I noticed that gramps was also holding a vest out to me and itachi "Congratulations you're both chunin" he said making me smile bigger than before and for the women that had come up to us to smile as well as pulling itachi into a hug and telling him that she was proud of him. 

Gramps looked to the man while placing a hand on my shoulder "Fugaku, I do hope that you won't be too harsh on your son for losing the match, you see chiyoko here has been training with some of the village's best for a year now and its been under my watch the whole time, she's is also from a distinguished clan who is naturally good at most things they do" said gramps as I was trying on my vest not paying attention to what  he was saying. My vest was smaller than everyone else's but it was still the same style making me really happy. Gramps had told me to go home for the night and that I would have to come into his office tomorrow for something really important. Before leaving the arena I said bye to itachi  and thanked him for helping me in the second part again. "Oh so this is the girl that you teamed up with? I'd thought she'd be older" said the woman while smiling down at me "How old are you sweetheart?" she asked while bending down in front of me "I'm 4!" I say smiling even as she made a funny looking face. "And you went through the chunin exams! oh my what was the hokage thinking?" she rambled. I waved at itachi once more before making my way back home for the night.
