Day 1 in hell

Chiyoko's Pov

"What's going on!" I yelled once we were back inside of gramps office, Ibiki was also in here as he was standing next to gramps desk. "First you were acting suspicious especially with the killing naruto thing and not saying anything to me after the session with ibiki in which you had said I was in there for 3 hours when it was 2, and then you so happen to now kill innocents?" I yelled out pointing at gramps and itachi as I went along. "Congratulations chiyoko" said gramps with a smile "Well done, you've passed the exam" said itachi as he patted my head "Hold on! so all of that was part of the exam! I had seriously thought you'd gone crazy gramps" I said "The point in this exam is to separate the strong and the weak, those with a strong body passed the first portion with little effort, but those with a strong mind passed the genjutsu's and this portion that you had just completed a second ago" explained gramps "So what your saying is that only those with a strong mind and body can pass the exam to be a jonin?" I asked "Essential yes, that is the point to the exam, the chunin exam is basically set up the same way although that one deals more with the body aspect then the mind" say's itachi as he went and lend up against the wall. I was told to go home before I could ask anymore questions, apparently I was to get my first mission tomorrow and had to be rested and ready for it.

The next morning I had gone into gramps office to receive my mission. It was going to be my first solo mission, while its not an S-rank it is an A-rank. I'm going to be delivering a message to the Mizukage and would have to stay in their village till I get a response from her. "They know of your arrival so you shouldn't have any problems getting into the village, your to leave by sundown today" said gramps before he dismissed me with words of good luck. I went straight home and checked my supplies 'I should get some more kunai's and wire before leaving' I thought while packing everything up. I walked to the weapons store and purchased what I needed. Thinking that I should head out early I started towards the gate "Got a mission?" asked kakashi as he appeared next to me "Mhm, I've got a scroll to take to the mizukage, I'll probably be gone for a week or so" I said while fixing the strap of my bag "Be careful, I've heard some rumor's of some pretty nasty swords men out there" said kakashi as we came up to the gate "Don't worry I'll be fine" I say as I passed through the gate.

I had been outside of the village numerous times by now but every time I get out I can't help but to look at nature the way its suppose to be and admire it. Its a 3 day journey to Kirigakure and I planed on running through the night to make it there by tomorrow evening at the earliest. Going through the land of the fire wasn't a problem since we have land till the water so I can easily take a boat without too much trouble since I'd still be in the land of the fire.

By the end of the day I had reached the land of the fire's only port and had paid for a boat ticket to go to Kirigakure. The boat wasn't leaving till tomorrow morning and would arrive a day later in kirigakure. The boat ride wasn't so bad, even if I had a bunch of annoying kids following me around and asking ridiculous questions. As soon as I got off of the boat I started towards kirigakure. It took me a few hours but I eventually found the village. Upon passing through the gates I was stopped by a group of shinobi who seemed to be guarding the gates "Stop who are you!" they called out "Chiyoko Fukushima, I've brought a message from the Hokage for the Mizukage" I said. One of the men looked down at me with a sneer "So they send a child?" I narrowed my eye's at them "Is there a problem?" I asked putting a hand on my hip "Of course not" said a female voice from my right. She has green eyes, and ankle-length, auburn hair styled into a herringbone pattern at the back, a top-knot tied with a dark blue band, and with four bangs at the front. Two bangs are short, with one covering her right eye, and two are long, crossing each other on her bust, just below her chin.

"Lady mizukage!" bowed the men "I was wondering what was taking the leaf messenger so long to get here" she said while looking over to me "It isn't your job to question the hokage's decision, by sending a child he isn't trying to insult us but show that he trusts us even if its meaning was hidden" she said while walking over towards me "Chiyoko Fukushima right?" she asked "Yes" I said "Whats your rank?" she asked "I'm a jonin we'd just recently finished our exams back in konoha" I said putting a hand on my hip. "A jonin? you've got to be only 5!" exclaimed the mizukage with surprise "I'm 7 not 5" I muttered. I had followed the mizukage to her office and given her the letter from gramps. She said that it was going to take her a few day's to meet with her council and deiced upon a response but for the time being I was allowed to walk around the village as long as I didn't fight with any of the villager's.

Kirigakure is different from konoha, you can always smell the salt water in the air, fish being cooked, and the people are pretty nice as well. I had deiced to go and find the training grounds and work with some of the fire style jutsu's that I had learned from itachi and shisui as I waited for the mizukage's response. Finding a nice open area I started off with the fire ball jutsu and increased the difficulty from there. Rat, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rabbit, Tiger my hands made the sign's and I took a deep breath before releasing small balls of fire at a near by wooden training log. The Phoenix Sage Fire Technique had been kicking my ass for the better part of the month but I think I had finally gotten it down.

​"Who the hell are you?" called a male voice from behind me. "Itsuki!" yelled a female voice as I turned around to see a group of what looked like genin and their sensei. "Why do you care who I am?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest "Your on our training ground!" yelled the same boy's voice who I guess is itsuki. He was relatively short had light blue hair and brown eye's, he wore a pair of black pants with a white belt and netted top underneath a white muscle shirt, he also had on the standard shoe's and kirigakure head band to prove that he was a genin. "The mizukage didn't say anything about anyone owning any training grounds or that I couldn't use them" I say making the boy even more angry.

"Who the hell are you anyway?! I've never seen you around here before I know everyone!" he yelled while pointing at me "Look at her head band baka! she's obviously not from around here!" yelled the girl as she hit itsuki on the head. She looked tallish for her age, had long blonde hair and purple eye's oddly enough but they were pretty on her, she had on a black skirt that had slits on each side of it with some shorts underneath, and a purple crop top with her head band tied to her right arm. "How old are you anyway? you look like a 3 year old" asked itsuki as he picked at his nose "I'm 7 dumb ass, and your the one acting like a three year old" I said as a tick mark pulsed against my forehead, he started laughing really loud saying that there was no way that I was the messenger from the leaf. The tick mark started to pulse faster and I was becoming increasingly irritated with this guy.

In the matter of seconds I had him tied up on the ground and gagged "You piss me off kid, its no wonder you're still a genin" I said kicking him over as the entire team took a step back with wide eye's. I looked over the other genin who looked kind of like sasuke, itachi's younger brother but instead of duck shaped black hair he had dark brown spiky hair and was reading a book like he didn't care that I just tied up his comrade. Looking to the sensei of the group she was a taller woman with black hair pulled back into a pony tale and bright blue eye's, she had on the standard jonin vest along with her head band tied around her forehead.

"You were obviously at the bottom of your class, loud mouth's are the loser's and loser's can be safely ignored but never forgotten" I said walking away from the team. I had walked out of sight of the team but could still hear the kids yell that he was going to kill me once he got untied I assume.
