Missions!/Genjutsu?

Chiyoko's Pov 

The next morning I went to gramps office just like he'd asked me too. I walked in seeing him sitting behind his desk like usual. He smiled seeing me come into the room, the only other person in the room was itachi and just like me he also had on his chunin vest. I walked up and stood next to itachi while I smiled and waved at gramps. "Hi gramps!" I called out as he continued to smile down at me "Hello chiyoko, thank you for coming in this morning" he said before looking between me and itachi "I have decided that since your both new chunin that I'd place you two together on a team that itachi will lead, seeing as chiyoko hasn't learned anything about genjutsu yet it will be your job to teach her itachi, for the first few weeks I'll be sending you two on some D-rank missions so that chiyoko can get the feel of missions after that it will be C-rank and a few B-rank missions" said gramps "Hai" said me and itachi before gramps told us we could go saying that we started tomorrow. 

As we left the office I looked to itachi who smiled down at me "How about we go to the training grounds so that we can try out some teamwork?" he asked I nodded in agreement before taking a left down the road to head out to the training grounds. I spent the rest of the day learning how to coordinate my attacks with itachi's so that when we go on big missions there won't be as much trouble.  Itachi walked me home since it was dark out when we finished training. I opened the door to my apartment while saying a bye to itachi. 

The next day I got my first mission! while it was boring since we were pulling weeds out of some lady's garden it was still fun since afterwards me and itachi started my genjutsu training. We were on training ground 44 and itachi was telling me about genjutsu's "Genjutsu  are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, by using taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, this causes a disruption in their senses, you understand this so far?" asked itachi while looking up from the diagram he had brought with him to help me understand. I nodded "So genjutsu messes with your senses through your chakra and makes a fake picture in front of you right?" I asked "Yes that's what it basically does" said itachi with a smile "Here's an easy one, I'll show you the hand signs then you try and cast it on me okay?" asked itachi, I nodded and stood up along with itachi.

Itachi showed the hand signs then motioned for me to try and cast the genjutsu 'Okay snake...rat...' "Demonic Illusion: Hell viewing technique" I called out trying to cast the genjutsu. I didn't think that it worked but apparently it did cause itachi had to release himself from the genjutsu.  "Good job chiyoko, I didn't think you'd be able to cast a genjutsu so quickly" said itachi with a smile on his face. For the rest of the day itachi kept giving me new jutsu's to try out and practice with so that I can get the hang of performing genjutsu's. 

~A year later~

Me and itachi were training on the 44th training ground as usual, my 5th birthday had just passed and itachi got me a panda shirt as a present. Genjutsu wasn't my best since I was having a hard time learning how to layer genjutsu's and realizing when I was under one. "Again!" called out itachi, I took a deep breath and cast a low level genjutsu, after that one was out I tried to over lay it with a higher level one. This continued till I was successfully able to get at least 3 genjutsu's on top of each other, I was just about to put the fourth one on when my eye's started to burn. I cried out in pain catching itachi's attention as all of the genjutsu's that I did have dispersed as I fell to the ground squeezing my eye's shut and pressing my hands onto them trying to make the pain stop. "Chiyoko whats wrong?" asked itachi as he bent down beside me, the pain started to go away and I pulled my hands back while looking up at itachi. Everything was sharper, more clean and in detail. Itachi's eye's widened before going back to there normal size. "Your not part uchiha are you?" he asked "I don't know? why?" I asked getting a little scared "No reason, why don't we go see the hokage" said itachi while standing up and pulling me up with him. "Okay" I say happily before running off towards gramps office.

I got to the office first and had to wait a few minutes for itachi to catch up to me before we went inside of gramps office. I stood towards the back of the room rocking back and forth on my feet as gramps and itachi were talking quiet and fast while every once and a while looking back towards me. "Chiyoko come here for a minute please" said gramps, I nodded making my way over to them "Pull the chakra away from your eye's then put it back for me" he said "Why?" I asked tilting my head to the side "I just want to see something" he said. I pulled the chakra back and my vision went back to normal, placing it how it was a few seconds ago my vision went sharp again. "Hm it seems that she does have the sharingan....there might be an uchiha in her ancestry some where that we don't know about" said gramps "Itachi can you train her?" asked gramps "Yes" say's itachi while glancing down at me. "Okay chiyoko you can't tell anyone about you have the sharingan and for now on no chakra to your eye's unless me or itachi say its okay, alright?" asked gramps "Okay!" I say pulling back the chakra while giving gramps a big smile. 

~2 years later~

Its been 2 years since I started my training with the sharingan with itachi. A lot has happened in the past 2 years, itachi became on anbu, I got another sensei names shisui who's really funny and cool to hang out with when itachi's not around, and gramps said that coming up soon I'll  be able to take the jonin exam to become a jonin in the village. I've also been taking on higher level missions most of the time I'm with my other sensei gai, asuma had left the village and went out on his own and is now apart of the twelve guardian ninja which is really cool to me. I don't see much of kakashi anymore but every once in a while I'll see him walking down the street and we'll talk. 

I've come along way with the sharingan and itachi said that he and shisui have taught me just about everything that I was going to need to know, they even showed me some of their clans jutsu's  and genjutsu's to practice with while they were away on their anbu missions and I was either on my B-rank missions or at the training grounds. Most of the adults still don't like me talking to their kids but most of the ninja like me....maybe its because I'm a chunin?
