I had a dream last night,
In my dream, my feet were taking me somewhere,
Each step is a gamble,
Each step, I'm telling myself not to be scared.
I never stopped walking,
It was a never-ending destination,
Yet, I've never even seen my journey,
Yes, it was dark– I was walking visionless.
Until you came.
All these years, I thought I was blind,
But I saw how you opened that door,
While holding a lamp.
It was dark...
Until you came, opened my eyes,
And saved me.
I saw your face,
And I was mesmerized by your pitch-black eyes,
Those two globes gave me another kind of darkness,
Something that I was willing to dive in,
Another gamble, another step.
Because now I found my destination,
And that's you.
