(Takes place in one of the newer season 5 episodes, read at risk of spoilers)

And then black and green energy strands exploded forth from Midoriya and shock rippled through the two classes as they observed what was happening.

The first person to speak was Zuri. "Sero. Tape me down. Now. Please." Her voice was tense and she had let her claws slip through and they were tearing up the metal platform below her like a hot knife through butter.

Sero, upon seeing the look in her eye, used his tape to pin her to the platform. Koda went to grab Aizawa while Sato and Sero worked to hold Zuri down.

Nobody knew what was happening with the girl but occasionally she would twitch or her eyes would flicker hungrily. Her quirk was also going on and off as she stared off towards the direction Midoriya was in.

Aizawa ran up, scarf immediately wrapping around Zuri's eyes. She hardly relaxed like she normally would when her quirk started to go out of hand and she was blindfolded.

"Zuri?" Hagakure asked cautiously.

"His soul is so... there's so many..." her voice was growling and low, a predator ready to pounce.

And then Uraraka got Midoriya out of whatever dilemma he was in with Shinsou's help and Zuri went limp, losing all tension in her muscles.

The tape was removed and Aizawa pulled his scarf back. "What happened? You're quirk hasn't done that in a long time." Aizawa questioned the girl while she sat up and rubbed her arms where the tape had been.

"His soul... when whatever just happened, happened, his soul essentially- well it looked like it multiplied." Zuri concluded, confusion written over her face. "For a moment there was maybe 7 souls in one person, Midoriya, and then it dropped to three. Then two, now he's back to one soul, his own, and I- I don't know what to think, it's never happened before."

Aizawa nodded, I'll talk to you about this more later, ok?" Zuri nodded and her teacher left. She sat down again with a heavy sigh and rubbed her head, feeling a headache coming on. Her classmates were looking at her in definite fear and she closed her eyes tightly, drawing her wings up and around herself so that she could block out their gazes.

She just wanted to go to sleep.
