(A/n: I don't know much about Nana so I'm sorry if this is a bit out of character for her.)
Third Person POV:

Toshi, or as she was otherwise known as the pro hero Skylight, was jumping from roof to roof as she moved swiftly towards the cafe she planned to meet her friend at.

She landed on the sidewalk lightly and continued walking as though she hadn't just jumped off a building roof. She waved at people as the states after her in excitement.

She made it to the cafe at the exact same as her friend. The two women ran up to each other and hugged, smiling and laughing.

"It's been so long, Toshi!" Nana Shimura said to her best friend.

"I know!! Being a pro and seeing your best friend every day is hard! It's been like two weeks hasn't it!" Toshi Nakamura exclaimed as the two headed inside the cafe.

They were directed to a table by the window with a view of the ocean. They talked about what had been going on with each other, what villains they had defeated, popularly contests, and more. It did come with the territory of being the first (Nana) and third (Toshi) pro heroes.

They ordered their drinks and continued to talk adamantly about whatever came to mind. Then Nana looked out the window with an almost sad expression on her face.

"I found a kid. A successor." Her voice was quieter than before.

"You think it's that time?" Toshi quieted her voice as well.

"Yes. I can tell I'm going to face him soon, so I'm going to start training him. He's planning on trying for UA."

Toshi nodded, "most do. What's his quirk?"

Nana sighed, "he doesn't have one. But!" She spoke again before Toshi could say anything, "there's something about him. . . I don't know."

"I trust you to make the right choice, Nana."

"Y'know. . . His name is actually really similar to yours."

"Mm?"

"Toshinori Yagi."

"Hope I can meet him someday!"

Then the building exploded.

With an earth shattering roar the room exploded, Toshi dove at Nana activating her quirk as she did.

Her quirk, known as Stars, could let her control incredible amounts of heat and gas as well as blast the energy from her hands or make a force field with it.

She created a shield around Nana, her reflexes almost unrivalled by anyone. She however was blasted backwards and slammed into a crumbling wall with a sickening crunch.

The field around Nana faded and Nana races over to Toshi with a terrified expression on her face.

"Toshi! Toshi! Come on answer me! You gotta hold on the paramedics are on their way! Toshi!" Her friend called as she propped her up with her back against the wall.

Toshi was bleeding from her head, leg, and arms. She blinked her eyes open slowly and smiled at Nana.

"Hey. . . I'm not gonna make it ok? But you gotta train Toshinori, ok? So. . . Keep. . . Smiling." She let out a gentle sigh and then went limp, all life leaving her.

"TOSHI!!" Nana yelled for her friend, waiting for her to jump up and yell, 'JUST KIDDING!' But she didn't.

The police arrived and Toshi was still dead. The ambulance arrived and she was still dead. Nana already had a hunch as to who had been behind the explosion but she didn't and wouldn't leave her friends side.

News crews started to pull up, looking to find out what was going on. Gasps were heard as people started to get a look at the scene.

Nana was pulled away from her friend and brought over to an ambulance where her small scrapes were treated quickly.

The broken form of Toshi sag up against the wall with her eyes open, staring at the sky.

~~ a few days later ~~

It was raining. A steady flow of droplets hit the black umbrellas surrounding the hole as the wooden casket was lowered into the it.

Nana Shimura, Torino Sorahiko, and other pro heroes, family, and friends surrounded the hole. Tears and rain mixed as they watched her body disappear from view.

Nana's POV:

I felt myself slipping away from the living world. I knew Toshinori and Torino got away. I can only hope Torino will finish training Toshinori.

I woke up again, laying on the pavement. I rubbed my head and sat upright. I was facing a beach and the sun was setting, turning the horizon a fiery orange and red. Also in front of me was the silhouette of an all too familiar figure.

I stood up and moved towards the person. They turned around and smiled at me.

"Took you long enough to get here, Nana."

"Toshi. . ."

She held out her hand to me,

"Let's keep going ok?"
