Skull Kid kicked a rock into the ocean. It splashed into the blue waves, sending ripples through the wavy sea. It reminded him of the beautiful fountain of the Great Fairy. The ugly orange lady denied him the friends that he so desperately wanted. He was ready to show her that he could be loved. He could be accepted. He was going to show her that even though the mask had made him do some bad things to Termina, but the moon never actually hit. He wanted to be redeemed, so that was what he was ready to do. He didn't care how pretty her fountain was, he didn't need to obey! Skull Kid stuck his head up in the air and started his quest to clock town.
Something tugged at Skull Kid's leg. He turned behind him to see what was pulling with the force of 5 powder kegs. Under the rippling sea he saw a slimy blob latched onto his shoe. A Like-Like. These creatures were spoken of in stories that Tael told him. But he had never seen one in real life it pulled. He pulled. They pulled until Skull Kid was sucked in. The monster's belly felt compact. Skull Kid didn't like it. Seconds after he was sucked in, he was regurgitated out. He ran off, before the Like-Like could further injure him.
Skull Kid dashed off of the sand. He hopped over the walls and gates splitting the field and the beach. But when he looked to consult his map, he couldn't find it. Skull kid had only been able to get anywhere in Termina by use of his map. But now, that was taken away from him. Why did everyone take from him? First his friends and now his map. Skull Kid mindlessly trudged away from the Great Bay. Of course, he didn't know where he was going. He had always been lost without Tatl. But now, Skull Kid was used to being lost. He could easily see Clock Town in the middle of Termina field. But he wanted to get in through another, different direction. Skull Kid knew the Great Fairy would have the closest entrance locked down. So Skull kid took an uncharted left.
