(Screen Name) White Arrow {Lesson Fall}

Sorry I haven't written in awhile there's just lots o' school stuff goin on right now.

But anyway, enough about me, let's get on with the show! Thank you again White Arrow for suggesting this!

So our old friend White Arrow (WA) was riding a 13 hand (aw cute) paint who was *snigger* and I quote,"Three feet in diameter." Wow, that's about as tall as me.

*cue drum symbol* lol

So this horse was basically pretty chubby (also like me).

So WA was on this horse because her main man CJ was at a show with a different rider (hate when that happens). She was in a private lesson, and only jumped one jump (repetitively). The jump was ply board 10 inch jump that was painted like a brick wall (oo scary).

Poptart, the pony she was riding, was being stubborn (we've all had one of those) and decided she didn't feel like jumping that day.

So this pony swerves and refuses, doing whatever she could to NOT jump.

WA's trainer told her, and I once again quote,"Give that ill sass a good swat and send her on." Which means wack her in the butt with a crop and do whatever you can to get her over that jump.

Those stubborn ponies teach you a thing or two don't they?

So WA gets her moving at a blue ribbon pace. Everything's good and Poptart isn't hopping around. Everything is expected to go nicely.......

Lol the suspense is killin ya ain't it.

That pony digs her hooves into the ground, giving WA's trainer a nice dirt bath.

Speaking of WA, she shoots over the pony's neck, probably getting whiplash as she slid her way down.

Here's the best part.

She stands up. Wipes the dirt off her hands. And bursts out laughing.

*cue trainer laughing as well*

WA gets back on her horse (my brave lil soldier) and eventually gets Poptart's fat butt over the jump.

Nobody was injured to my knowledge.

Extra: WA says she learned that if Poptart didn't want to jump, she wasn't going to jump. And you might as well just switch saddles and do dressage.
