I woke up late finding myself sprawled next to Maia I rolled over and walked out of her to find JJ asleep on the pull out bed shirtless. I least den next to him pressing a kiss to his forehead to wake him up he turned to face me
"morning angel" he whispered with a rough tone to his voice.

After eating breakfast I went to find Maia when I turned around the corner of the chateau seeing her arms around Rafe's torso telling him something was going to be ok I didn't know how to feel about it because obviously me and Rafe dated and now she's hugging and reassuring him. I walked back into the house brushing past JJ tears threatening to spill out my eyes when he stops me holding my shoulders.
"Whats going on Chaplin?" he asks making eye contact with me
" I er think somethings going with Maia and Rafe, I don't know I'm overthinking don't worry" I say to J dismissing the situation.

Later that day we made our way down to a party at the boneyard music blasting off someone's suitcase speakers I went of with JJ to get drinks for everyone. I watched as Maia walked over to some kooks she was friends with. Once me and JJ had given everyone their drinks we went off to dance together, his free hand snaking its way around my waist and my hands latching around his neck. Our hips swaying together to the music when I noticed Maia and Rafe Cameron. After a while, Maia makes her way over to me
"Hey you ok" she asks
"No, but it seems like you're perfectly fine" I snap at her stepping back
"What the fuck are you on about" she asks shocked
"I don't know, why don't you fuck off to rafe" I raise my voice catching the notice of JJ as walks closer to me
"Oh for fucks sake Mave you make everything such a big deal" she shouted at me
"What?! how you're literally fucking my ex" I scream at her
"Oh my God! you're such a child " Maia argues back at me
"I'm the child" I express back
"YES you always have been ever since our parents died you made everything about you and not me!!" my face softened as she said that wishing she hadn't brought up our parents.
"oh shut up would you" I reply back
"NAH! and if you checked your facts nothing is going on with me and rafe" I stopped listening at that point ignoring her
"Whatever, " I say beginning to walk away
"Dont you dare walk away you coward" I hear her shout I turn around looking at her
"What did you just call me bitch"
"A fucking coward" she spat at me I suddenly felt JJ grab me by the waist pulling me away.
"Oh of course he's here," I say glaring at Rafe pulling back Amaia
"Fuck off" she hisses at me
Tears began to roll down my cheeks as JJ walked me away from the situation realising I had just lost my best friend. Sobs racked through my body as J and I returned to the chateau his tall body engulfing my own not saying anything just holding me.
