Barbie Spy Squad: Discovering Dark Secrets

"Okay kids, me and your mom are going for work. Don't burn down this place," George chuckled.

"We won't, dad! I promise," Barbie said.
"And no sneaking out, you two," Margaret gestured towards Barbie and Ken.

Barbie blushed and looked down.
"Don't worry, Auntie Margaret. We won't."
Margaret eyed them suspiciously.

But then she shrugged and walked out of the room.
Ken grabbed Barbie's hand and dragged her towards the window.

Both saw Margaret and George exit the hotel.
"Okay now's our chance," Ken grinned mischievously as Barbie frowned.

"Ken! You know we can't leave this place. My parents told me not to," Barbie argued as Ken just shrugged.

"Come on, Barbie! We're on a vacation. We aren't here to stay in the hotel room all day," Ken grumbled but Barbie was still unsatisfied.

He smirked. "There's a luxurious villa right beside here. I checked it out. It's so cool. And I kinda felt it was suspicious how someone without any company needed all of that luxury."

Barbie looked up excitement clear in her eyes. Ken grinned knowing he got Barbie's attention.

"How about Agent Carson and Agent Roberts take the matter to their own hands?" Ken suggested.
Barbie nodded.
"I love that idea. We can have fun and solve some mystery."

"Okay you two, lovebirds. Have fun!" Skipper exclaimed pushing the two out of the room. Barbie and Ken both blushed trying to tell Skipper that they were.......just friends. But it was too late for that because Skipper had already closed the door.

"Sorry about my sister. She can be....too much sometimes. I'll talk to her later," Barbie said awkwardly.

"It's o-okay.....," Ken stuttered, "Now let's just go check out the cool place."

Barbie nodded excitedly.
"And I hope mom and dad wouldn't figure it out or I'll be in trouble."

And with that they headed out......wearing their usual detective sunglasses.

Once the two arrived they were mesmerized by the beauty of the place.

"Wow! You were right, Agent Carson. This really is worth it," Barbie chuckled, "But now what?

Ken grinned sheepishly. "How about we try and enjoy this? It's not like we can sneak here everyday."

Barbie began to think. What if they were caught? What if the owner thought they were thieves? What if they contacted her parents? Then she was never going to see Ken! It would be the end of the world!

"Whoa! Chill, Barbie! None of that is going to happen," Ken chuckled.
Barbie blushed as she realized she said all of that out loud.

"But what if something goes wrong?" Barbie exclaimed.

"Barbie.....you are overthinking this. Everything will be just fine," Ken reassured her.

Barbie took a deep breath.
"Okay......Let's just enjoy this for now."

And with that they began exploring the place.

"Oh my freaking God! Look at this cool pool!" Ken exclaimed and dove to water as Barbie chuckled.

Barbie decided she would explore the place a little bit. She put the earpodes and listened to some very cool music.

But right then the kids stopped as soon as they heard  sounds of arguing and footsteps.

Barbie quickly hid behind a wall praying Ken was fine.
She covered her mouth breathing heavily.

Right in her sight a man ran and tried to get out of there..... while he was doing so he dropped an envelope...and it fell right in front of Barbie.

Barbie quickly grabbed it and put it in her pocket.
Right behind that man another guy came out with his gun pointed at him.

Barbie glanced aside to see who that guy was...he was tall bearded blonde man...he seemed to be around forty.
He pulled the trigger.

Barbie flinched at the loud sound of the gunshot. She looked at the other man who was now dead.

She was shaking from fear. She never saw something like that.
The man gestured to some other guys and went back inside his house.

Those guys carried the dead body to the garden.
Barbie looked around to see if she could find Ken.

Once there was no one in sight....Barbie carefully got out of her hiding spot.

"K-Ken?" Barbie called. Her throat was dry so her voice wasn't loud, "Where are you?"

She sighed in relief as she saw the boy coming out of the pool.

"Did you see that?" Ken asked rather horrified, "I bet they're hiding something."
Barbie really didn't want to know. She had enough of this.

But before she could say another word they heard sounds of footsteps.

The kids quickly hid behind that wall seeing the very same man who killed that other guy coming out of the house.

"Did you get rid of his body?" he asked in a cold tone.

Ken lookd at him suspiciously.
"He looks familiar. I know I saw him somewhere......but where?"
He quickly grabbed his phone and took a picture.

Barbie glanced at the man suspiciously thinking the same. She gasped as the realization hit her.

She covered her mouth quickly praying that they didn't hear her.

"What's wrong, Barbie?" Ken asked clearly concerned, "You look pale."

Barbie took a deep breath trying to calm down.

She pointed to the man who just murdered someone while her hand was shaking.
"H-he is Bruce Flemings....the owner of the company my parents work for."

No matter how dangerous the situation was....Barbie knew that she had to do something.

Because now her parents were in danger.
