Clan Fowlis is an ancient family. Originating in Aberdeenshire in the Highlands of Scotland, the founder of the Fowlis of Barra branch joined in the Battle of Harlaw in 1411 in exchange for the Isle of Barra from Donald, Lord of the Isles. The Fowlis of Barra branch built Cìosamul Castle on a small island off of Castlebay in Barra, where they continued to reside for centuries. By 1746, Eairdsidh Ruadh Fowlis was the 7th Laird of Cìosamul and had quite an extensive family. Use this guide to follow along, as these people will likely be mentioned frequently.

|| A/N: Some of the death dates are firm, some are not. I plugged in random dates because if I didn't, it said they were 200-300 years old and that got annoying to look at.
