3rd POV:
The last battle of the final exams ended with Izuku and Katsuki's win against AllMight as Katsuki was able to distract AllMight long enough for Izuku to build up power in his dragon form. The end of the last match between Izuku and Katsuki against AllMight marked the end of the practical portion of the finals as only half of the class were able to pass.
Most of them felt extremely disappointed with themselves for not passing, while those that have passed were feeling extremely proud and happy for their achievements. Those who passed were all part of Team Tarragon except for Kaminari and Mina who lost against Nezu's high IQ battle.
Even if the finals are over, there is still one more important matter the staff and teachers are discussing. That matter is the Advanced Class Section.
Not only was the final exams graded, but it also served as a form of an entrance exam for the Advanced Class Section that the school had decided to implement not long ago. Those students who will be part of the Advanced Class will not only graduate a year early but will also have the chance to gain their professional hero licenses right after they graduate.
Because according to the Hero Commission, in order to have your pro hero licenses, you must first serve as sidekicks and gain more experience out in the real world. 3 years are needed in order for someone to have a chance to gain their pro hero licenses through a tough hero exam that only has a 5% chance of succession.
So if you are part of the Advanced Class, you will be able to start your hero career very early on and have a chance to establish yourself and gain the recognition of the public. Being part of the Advanced Class will also raise your popularity in the commission and the public since they will be recognized as talented young heroes that were handpicked by Principle Nezu, the most intelligent creature on Earth.
With all of this in mind, Principle Nezu and the rest of the UA staff have to carefully pick out who to bring part of the Advanced Class. If they pick out students who will have lackluster skills at the end of the program, they will receive severe backlashes from the public and the Hero Commission for their failure to produce talented heroes under the Advanced Class Program.
It was now two days after the final exams as the UA staff was about to conduct a meeting about which students were going to be enrolled into the Advanced Class Section. Both Class 1A and Class 1B have finished their practicals as it was now time to see all of the results.
"Now let us begin with Class 1A," Nezu stated as he handed file folders to the UA staff with reports of the battles that were conducted during the final exams.
"As we all could see, only half of them have managed to pass," Nezu said.
"Whew, were we really that hard on them?" Hizashi questioned as he went through all of the files.
"It is to be expected that we had to go all out against them. If they fail that just means that they lack the potential to become decent heroes." Aizawa said with his usual emotionless voice.
"Wow, do you really have to be that brutal with your students?" Midnight asked him sarcastically.
"Do you want me to sugarcoat my words to them? If they want to be heroes then they need to learn how to take honest criticism since they will be receiving loads of them when they become pro."
"I agree with Aizawa." Vlad King suddenly said as they all looked at him in shock. "After the finals, I saw the outcome of the matches of my students and they all failed. I think my teaching method has become ineffective as they are not improving." Vlad Kind said, disappointed with himself for not guiding his students properly that resulted in all of them failing.
