It all made sense now.

Just moments ago my wolf was going mad in my mind, yelling at me to go outside. I ignored it, I ignored it because I knew this meeting was important and I wanted to get it over with.

I ignored it till I couldn't do it any more! She had my wolf go crazy!! The smell of her heat, rich and thick in the air! Even the smell of her natural scent, sweet vanilla. She smelt like she tasted good, and I couldn't wait to test that theory.

I lowed my head, taking in more of her intoxicating scent, snd whispered as low as I could. "Hi there"

She looked up at me for only a second before blushing. "Hi"

Now holding her in my arms, everything became clear. This blue-eyed beauty is my mate.

God was she perfect, she was perfect cause she was mine.

Soft pale skin, dark black hair, eyes that just demanded that you look at them. I couldn't help but imagine how they'd look as she came.

My wolf cried a little knowing she's not holding us at this moment. All because her brother, her current Alpha,  said to let go. My wolf wanted to claw his face off, and anyone else who came in between us!

Looking around it seems like it's just him, but I couldn't try to hurt him more than what has already been done. My pack would be pissed if my first announcement as Alpha is that we're going to war.

Her father has managed to get everyone to see reason, or to at least not want to kill each other.

That was easy for me, I have what I want right here. As long as she's in my arms I see no reason to get hostile with anyone—

"Maybe we just need to reset. Zion sit down, and Alpha Malakai please let go of her so everyone can be calm" he said, holding his hand out for her. "He's never liked seeing people touch her"

Oh, he wants me to allow her to run to his arms? Not happening! She was in heat, aroused, and my mate! I'm not letting go, I just got her.

My wolf wanted to mark her right here and make everyone shut the fuck up, but I choose to be more professional.

I just looked him in his eyes letting him know I'm not backing down. Someone would literally have to try to take her from me.

I could feel his change of energy as he cowered slightly. He knew better, the only one who might try me is her brother.

I held her tighter, not caring about anything else.

"You dare disrespect my pack?!" Alpha Zion roared, his mate holding his arm, trying to get his attention.

"Zion.." his mother pleaded, but he wasn't hearing it.

"Hey" a small voice called out, getting everyone's attention.

I looked down into her ocean blue eyes and nearly came in my pants at her beauty. She was gorgeous.

"This feels really good, but for right now can you let go?" she asked, making my body shake. She admits this feels good? Just me holding her?

Her voice softened my wolf. He backed down allowing me to take back full control. I slowly dropped my arms, letting her free.

She didn't leave my side right away. She looked into my eyes and blushed yet again.

Her father had to grab her hand, and pull her to him.

It pissed me off to watch, but I knew it wasn't wise to do anything about it.

"You think you can just go around touching people's sisters? MY sister? In MY pack? At MY house? Are you fucking crazy?" The Alpha asked, tapping his foot impatiently like a damn tv dad.
