blaze🔥 BlazingThorns: No streams for a few days! Going out to visit my family for a bit!

~ irl ~

I was in my car driving to see my family. They only live about 20 minutes away, but the internet doesn't need to know that. Like really. Privacy is a really big deal to me-

Besides, I need a break from streaming, and I needed a valid reason. And besides, it's not like I was lying, I was going to be visiting my family.

Arriving at the house I quickly collect my things from my car and make my way up to the front door and knock. Even though I still had a key, my hands were kinda full, and I wanted to let them know I was here anyways.

About a minute later my second oldest brother, Atlas, opens the door. Though I can see my mom approaching from behind him

"Hallo, meine liebe!" My mother greets me.

"Hallo Mama," I quickly respond.

I step inside and set my backpack next to the small table that is sat next to the front door with a bowl for keys sat on it. Walking a bit further into the living room I see my little sister playing with her dolls.

My family consists of my mom, my older brother (Anthony, 24), myself (Briar, 21), my second oldest brother (Atlas, 15), my youngest brothers are twins (Axel and Jaelynn, 13), and my little sister (Dilan, 7).

My dad is no longer in the picture. He left when I was 14. So roughly 7 years ago. He left when mom was pregnant with Dilan.

In fact, not long after he left I started getting really into video games. Of course, I had played them before, but I never played them often. I guess video games became somewhat of an escape for me. Minecraft especially, seeing as it had such a variety, and practically endless amounts, of things you could do.

I was brought out of my thoughts by my little sister calling my name and running towards me. I quickly turn so that I can give her a big hug.

Though I live rather close to my family, I don't see them often. Recently I've been pretty busy with school and all my online stuff.

I live in Orlando, Florida and go to University of Central Florida (UCF). I have lived in Florida nearly my whole life. But we only moved to Orlando about 4 years ago. I was actually born in Germany, but we moved to America when I was about 5 or 6, just before Atlas was born.

- Time skip -

I hear my mom call out that lunch is ready so I head over to the dining room where the rest of my family is seated (with the exception of my older brother, Anthony, as he now lives in Georgia for work).

I checked the time to see it's only 12:20 pm. We all then begin to eat our lunches and me and my mom begin to have a small conversation.

"So, darling, how's school coming along?"

"Actually, quite well Mama. I have high A's in all my classes, and I'm one of the top students in all my classes."

"Tolle arbeit, Schatz!"

"Danke, Mama," I said back to her with a smile on my face.

After lunch all the kids went back to their rooms. Instead I decided to help my mom clean up the kitchen.

Once we were finished with all the lunch stuff, it was around 1:30 pm.

I went up to my brother Atlas' room. Atlas and I have a lot in common. He's at the age for peak video game interest. So, as his "gamer girl" (as his friends call me) big sister, it is my responsibility to help him get better at them. Though with some of the games he plays, he has to teach me. I just teach him Minecraft shit and a few other games. While he teaches me how to play a lot of first-person shooter games.
