I spent the next few days doing different things throughout Charleston, and a few of the surrounding cities.

After those few days I decided it'd be best if I went back to Florida seeing as I definitely needed to tend to my schoolwork and begin streaming more again. I decided to go back on the 13th.
So I ended up spending most of my day in the car trying to figure out how to get back home with the help of my trusty-dusty navigation app.
The entire drive home I listened to various playlists I had made, or found on Spotify.
After about 7 hours of driving I finally arrived back home. I went inside and was pleasantly surprised to see the place was neater than I'd left it. I went to set my keys down on the table by the front door and found a note laying there.
Hallo meine leibe, I heard from Jaime that you were out of town for a bit, and I decided to come clean for you! I also made sure all your pets were fed and well taken care of. Call me when you get back, ich liebe dich

I looked up from the note in my hands and set it back down on the table as I got my phone out to let my mom now I'd made it home.
After that I took my new clothes upstairs and put them in the washer seeing as they needed to be cleaned since I was unable to do that whilst in South Carolina.

"Hi Clay, how've you been?"
"I've been pretty alright, you?"
"That's good to hear. And I'm alright. Feelin pretty good after that little break, I really needed it."
"Yeah, understandable. We all need a break every once in awhile. What all did you do while in Charleston?"
"Well, on the first day I did a little bit of walking around downtown and learning about the city. That place actually has a lot of historical shit behind it. Then I was gonna go to the beach the next day but... I didn't, instead I went to the Charleston City Market and got each of my family members something. Then I went to the aquarium the next day. And that same day I went swimming in the pool at the hotel and met this really cool girl named Emma, she's really nice. And then I just spent the rest of the week exploring the city and doing things there that I've never been able to do before."
"Wow, sounds like a fun week then?"
"Yup. Oh shit! I forgot to get you something at the market! Oh my god- and Sapnap!" I exclaimed, stupid fucking idiot, I thought about myself.
"It's okay Briar, don't we worry about it. Me and Sap don't need anything anyways, we'll be fine," Clay said trying to reassure me.
"I know, but you and Sapnap are literally my best friends! Jaime's moving to fucking Australia, so it just you and Sap now. I'm sorry Clay, I really am. I meant to get you both something, but I completely forgot."
"Briar. It. Is. Okay. Don't worry about it."
"Still... I'm sorry."
"It's ok- oh shit, sorry B, I gotta go. Talk later?"
"Yeah, sure. Bye."
"Bye!" Clay said, and the smile he was wearing whilst saying it was very clear.
And with that, he hung up.

I turned my phone off and checked the time on the clock on my nightstand.
9:45 pm
I decided since it was getting somewhat late that I'd get ready for bed.
I did that quickly and got in bed, immediately falling asleep.
