"So?"

"So?"

His eyes were filled with hopes. You, only you hold the power to either save or destroy Izana right now and with every ounce of trust in him, he was sure that you'd tell the truth.

"....."

"Tell me Y/n. Trust me with the truth."

"I.........don't know what you're talking about, Aizawa-san."

"...Heh.....Huh?"

"Izana and I went to the.....library that day. He isn't the one behind the chef and staff's death I can...confirm that."

"....."

He looked down on his thighs, chuckled and broke his grip from your hands. Hanma infront of the monitor rubbed the sweats from his forehead and took a deep sigh.

"....I see...Anything for you 'Mister', huh...."

"...Come again?"

"Thank you for your time. You may leave."

"Wha-"

"I SAID THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME YOU MAY LEAVE."

Without a word, you went out. Right after you closed the door, Aizawa screamed 'Dammit!' and broke his glass table with the secret voice recorder inside his pocket.

As much as you wanted to tell him the truth, you didn't. Even if you did told him everything, you too would've been imprisoned along with Izana as well.

The asylum can't assure your safety. If this case was to be taken to the court after your confession, you would have had to face atleast 12-15 years of imprisonment, of what Izana would've faced since there isn't any evidence that proves on you not having any hand in the murder.
