The Cameron's have always made a grand entrance to every midsummers I could even remember , this year I was just lucky enough to join them . " are you alright " rafe place his hand on my shoulder , I nodded " what was that the other night Rafe ? " I questioned " I mean I feel like I deserve to know since they are my bestfriends " he looked frustrated as I said those words " y/n it doesn't matter anymore , it's over " he shot back. " Rafe you can't just be going around fighting JJ and Pope and expect me not to ask what happened " I moved so his hand would leave my shoulder " and I'm not picking sides til I hear both sides of the story " he sighed " Pope and JJ sunk Toppers boat , you know that's why they got arrested" he said in a cocky tone" they got arrested"he laughed back at this comment.

At this point I was a little bit confused , JJ and Pope never told me they got arrested and it's just not like them to go around sinking boats for no reason. "If they were your bestfriends y/n don't you think they would tell you something like this ? "

" fuck you Rafe " I looked up at him in the eyes
" y/n , I'm sorr- " I cut him off " I'm going to kie , just leave me alone for a bit " I walked off .

How dare Rafe say that to me , I'm sick and tired of the kooks judging the pogues just because there not as well off . I've never seen this side Of Rafe , ever since the movie he's been treating me like shit in public , when we're alone he can be so caring but when we're around people he treats me like I'm nothing to him.

"Kie you look stunning " she turned around " y/n!!!" She hugged me " this dress fits you perfectly " she came up to whisper something in my ear " I'm sure Rafe thinks the same thing " I sighed " you know JJ and Pope got arrested " she stepped away from me
" um , yeah I did " guilt across her face " JJ told me not to tell you because he didn't want you to think of him as some guy from the wrong side of the tracks "

I didn't know how to respond or even feel about what she just told me . I spend more time with the pogues than I do the kooks, why would he even think I would judge him for getting arrested. " why did they do it kie ? " I asked "I know they wouldn't just go around sinking peoples boats "

" Rafe and topper beat Pope with a golf club when he was delivering for his dad " She told me

I didn't even know how to think or feel at this moment , I couldn't even believe Rafe would do something like this . " I'll be back kie " she nodded

Rafe stumbled over to me " hey y/n" slurring his words " Rafe your drunk and to be quite honest I don't want to talk to you " I shot back " why? " he whined , sadness taking over his face " because you assaulted Pope that's why Rafe" He grabbed my arm "you can't just never talk to me again y/n " his voice cracked " I never said that Rafe , but right now I think it's best if we keep our distance" I broke our gaze , ripping my arm out of his grip " y/n please don't do this " he begged " why not Rafe ? , it's not forever " I rolled my eyes , when he didn't answer I walked away.

When I got home I got straight into the shower and then into bed, I picked my phone up and checked it not thinking I would have many notifications.

2 missed calls from Sarah ☀️

5 missed calls from Kie 😊

10 texts from Rafe 💕

" shit what did I miss " I whispered to myself , what could be so important that I missed out on to have this many missed calls and texts ? I decided to call Sarah first since she's been having a hard time with Topper recently . I dialled her number and she picked up on the first ring "y/n what took you so long to pick up" her voice shaky " Sorry I was in the shower, what's up ?" I asked " topper pushed John B off the wooden tower in the woods And now he's in hospital " her voice cracking " why what happened ?"
My heart racing from shock "Topper found out about me and John B and I hadn't even told him yet " she sighed " it's all my fault"

"It's no ones fault Sarah , did you see how drunk Topper was at Midsummers " she sighed at my comment " are you home right now ? " she asked
" yes do you want to stay the night Sarah ? "

" yes please" I could tell she was crying, we said our goodbyes then I called kie " I heard what happened with John B and Topper" I informed her " oh who told you ? "

"Sarah did , are you alright ? "

I've always known Kiara has had a crush on John B since forever so the fact that she had to find out this way about him dating Sarah makes me feel for her
" I just can't believe John B would do this to us and now he's in hospital because of her , She's going to do what she did to me to John B and he doesn't need something like that In his life y/n ! I know she's one of your closest friends and all but I can't be apart of something like this " she said in a breathy voice " it's okay Kie , it'll all work out in the end I promise" she sighed "well I have to go sort some shit out y/n , I'll talk to you in the morning okay "

"Okay " the call ended there . I really didn't know what to do ,I was stuck in the middle of this . Kie and Sarah are my bestfriends and I can't stand seeing them both this hurt.
