I got into the passenger seat seeing Rafe with the sad look still on his face , jaw clenched and his hands tightened firmly around the steering wheel. "What's wrong Rafe ?" My hand went to his thigh, he looked at me but no answer. " did I do something ? " he just laughed at me, " did you do something ? " I looked at him with confusion , " no , no don't worry y/n ! " he was now speeding down the small streets of obx
" you didn't do anything " I sighed at him , "that's what you did. Nothing " he was now yelling at me again , scaring me , the tears in my eyes must of made him feel some kind of guilt to make him stop and apologise.

After a few moments of silence we arrived at the Cameron's, I practically ran out of the car holding in the tears , sneaking up into Sarah's room. I knocked just in case John B was over "Sarah, it's y/n " I whispered . The door slowly creeped opened
"John B's not In there is he ? " I asked to make sure.
" no come in y/n , what's wrong ? " I fell into her arms , closing the door then locking it behind me so that Rafe wouldn't come in "me and Rafe had a fight" anger spread across her face when she heard those words fly out of my mouth. " Fucking asshole , I swear to god I'll fucking kill him if he hurt you" i shushed her " it's kinda my fault , I was ignoring him all day , then he said he loves me and I pretended I didn't hear " I blurted out. "Why'd you ignore him ? " her face full of concern " I want to break up with him , he makes me feel too insecure and you know what happens when I get too low" I whispered just incase Rafe was at the door listening. "YOUS ARE DATING"

"shut up " I whispered while covering her mouth.

" if you think breaking up with him will make you feel better do it ,and he's an asshole for getting mad at you for not saying it back, take your time " I nodded at her.

I had now left Sarah and was walking towards her brothers room so that I could sort this out with him. I opened the door slowly to see him walking towards me " I'm sorry for getting mad y/n" he tried to kiss me but I just went and sat on his bed "you've been off all day , what's up ?" Rafe was looking down at me. "we need to talk" I said In a quiet voice trying to hide the pain I'm about to put myself through.

He sat down beside me , looking deeply into my eyes. " what's wrong ? " he asked placing his hand on top of mine , I smiled at the electricity his touch does to my body but then I came back to reality and what I was about to do.

"I...I think it's best if we end this " I felt my throat start to close up as I looked up at him to see his expression looking hurtful. "What ?" His voice breaking, " it's just not working " I sighed.

" is there another guy ? Or did I do something wrong ? " his eyes were getting glossy as he said this , "you did nothing wrong , I'm just not mentally okay to do this" I pulled my hand away from his. "I'm sorry Rafe" I got off his bed.

" we can work through this together y/n , just please don't do this to me " he got up off his bed as well.

I looked into his gaze seeing a tear roll down, I felt like my heart was cracking into many pieces seeing how much pain I was causing the both of us. " it's for the best Rafe " I wiped his tear away then walked out of his room closing the door behind me.

I made my way back towards Sarah's room trying to make myself look happy and presentable. I walked into my room and her head snapped to me "did you break up with him ?" She asked, "y-yeah" tears streaming down my Face. "you know what you need" Sarah smiled , " uh happiness for once ? " I laughed
" no you idiot we're going to a party "

It's been weeks since the kegger , I try to forget about that night but it always haunts Me. As long as I get drunk Enough I forget everything but not too drunk I regret something. "Fine I'll go but only if I get to raid your closet " I smiled "fine"

I pulled out a mini black denim skirt , a black cropped tank top , a brown knitted cardigan and her platformed doc martens. "You'll look so hot in that y/n " she laughed "who's hosting ? " I asked " Kelce but don't worry Rafe will be doing coke the whole time so you'll barley if ever see him "

Our Uber dropped us off out front of kelces and we made our entrance " I'm going straight to the drinks, you want anything ?" I offered " uh nah , I'll probably find John B first"

I made my way to the beverages pouring myself a full cup of Malibu , sitting on the counter and then downing it like beer , I had 3 of them " woah slow down there y/n" a tall, masculine figure approached me with a smirk on his face as he grabs a beer. " I've drank before JJ, leave me be " I chugged down the rest of my drink then refilling the cup with more Malibu.

"Why are you drinking so much ? " I rolled my eyes at him and put the cup down, "I assume kie or Pope would of told you already" I looked behind him, seeing Rafe entering the party with a smile.  " you and Rafe were - "

"Yeah we were but I ended it like 3 hours ago " I tried to smile picking up my cup again. Before I can even bring it to my lips , it's snatched from my hold and placed on the counter. "I think you've had enough , yeah ? " I glared at him " I can drink as much as I want" I tried grabbing the cup but failed, I looked behind him again seeing Rafe walk closer towards us.

JJ noticed my gaze looking somewhere else and followed my line of sight , looking at Rafe. He looked down at me and I frowned back at him, looking sadly at the cup hoping he would give it back to me.

Instead he walked closer towards me , pressing against my knees so that I would bring my legs apart and he could step in between them. "Trust me ?" He looked down at me with a serious expression and I just looked up at him in confusion.

"Trust you ?" He nodded at my words and before I could retaliate he moved his head closer to me and brought his lips against mine.

I stayed frozen for a second before accepting the kiss, liking it even. A good ten seconds later we both pulled away , breathing deeply as we looked into each other's eyes. JJ raised his eyebrow and stepped away , turning his head to look behind him.

We both saw Rafe looking at us with hurt and anger spread across his face, JJ turned back to look at me " gotta make him regret hurting you " I frowned at those words " he didn't do anything , he was just too good for me . Anyone and everyone is "  He looked at me for a second with worry on his face , kissing my cheek then turning and walking away.
