I apologize in advance for this trainwreck for the last several chapters ❤

Corbyn's POV

Several months passed and things seemed to be calming down a little. Jasmine and Madison were back to talking and Zach seemed to finally leave Madison alone. They weren't arguing anymore so I guess I'll count that as a plus. "Alright, I'm heading to the mall. Does anyone need a ride or something from a store?"

"I could use some more ammo but that's really it," Daniel told me.

"Anyone else?" I asked.

No one else responded so I hurried off to get the errands done. When I'd finished with the groceries, I went to pick up some ammo that Daniel had asked for. As I was heading to the car Alexa appeared. "Can we talk?"

I tried to move past her but she wouldn't let me. I rolled my eyes. "Fine. What is it?"

"Does she know?" Alexia asked as we continued walking to her car.

"Know what?"

"Anything about us," Alexia replied. "What we did? How we did it? Who's involved?"

I shook my head. "I have no idea what she knows. Daniel and Jack say she knows more than she's letting on. Jonah clearly knows something but won't say anything. She was talking to Eben yesterday and they got quiet when I came in. What do you think?"

"Daniel and Jack are right. She knows so much more than you think," Alexia told me. "Corbyn, you need to be very careful what you say or do around her."

"Lexi... why can't you tell me?" I sighed.

Alexia refused to look at me. I knew this had to be hard on her. Being stuck in the middle of this. "I know we're not on the best of terms and believe me I am still angry with you, but you can tell me if something is putting us in danger."

Alexia shook her head. "You have to be careful. You're not the only one trying to protect Maddie. Her dad is trying to get her back from you and Martin is protecting her from you. You all understand the risks. What you choose to do is up to you. I just wanted to tell you."

I hated that I was about to take her advice but she seemed to know more about this than I did. "What do you think I should do about it?" I asked.

Alexa sighed. "I think you know."

"I can't..."

"It's just temporary Corbyn. I swear I'm not trying to get back with you. I'm just telling you what's best," Alexa stuttered.

"Lex.." I groaned.

She raised an eyebrow at me. The last time I'd called her that we were dating. "Just think about it."

"Okay... I'll consider it," I sighed and opened her car door. "I'll see you later."

She nodded and I headed across the parking lot to my car.

Madison's POV

Ever since the party, I'd been seeing Martin a lot more. I didn't know how he was able to track me but I wasn't about to tell Corbyn. Who knew what he might do? Martin had talked to me occasionally when he'd run into me in a store but usually one of the boys was nearby to send him away.

"What are you thinking about?" Jonah asked me as he walked into the kitchen with his shirt around his neck.

"Nothing much," I replied. "Where have you been?"

"Daniel and I went on a run. He decided to go on to Eben's," Jonah replied. "Can I talk to you?"

"About?"

Jonah took a seat beside me and took the rest of my sandwich. "Corbyn said you and Eben were acting strangely when he found you."

"Strangely?" I asked, not sure why I was giving one word questions.

Jonah put his hands up as if to surrender. "It's none of my business, but you know how it looks right?"

"I'm not cheating on Corbyn if that's what you're implying," I stuttered.

Jonah shook his head. "I never said you did. Just tell me. What were you two talking about?"

"Jo..." I sighed, knowing Daniel would be angry if I told him.

"I swear I won't tell Corbyn. Just let me know. Was it about the gang?" Jonah replied calmly.

I nodded quietly. I didn't want him to be angry with me. I'd only done what Daniel had told me to do. Jonah seemed to figure that out and sighed. "Okay."

"Are you angry?" I asked.

"No," he replied and kissed my cheek. "I'm going to take a shower."

A few hours later, Chloe woke up and began begging me to go out with her since Jasmine had stood her up. I ended up agreeing because I needed to get out of the house anyways.

"What's been going on between you and Jack?" I asked.

Chloe shrugged as she traced the shapes on the table. "I love him, but with the gang and everything, I don't know if I can be with him."

"Have you told him?" I asked.

She was about to reply when Noah walked in and hugged me. "Hey Maddie. Chlo, can I talk to you?"

Chloe nodded and followed Noah to the door. As I watched them through the window it seemed like they were flirting. I didn't want to believe it. The conversation eventually seemed to end and Chloe began to come inside when Noah grabbed her arm. He pulled her close to him and kissed her and she didn't seem to resist.

Chloe came inside and sat down. "What were we talking about?"

"Never mind. What the hell were you doing with Noah?" I asked in shock.

"Is it a problem for you? You rejected him," Chloe sighed.

I shook my head. "Not that. What about Jack? You're going to hurt him."

Chloe's eyes widened and I could tell she was beginning to panic. "Please don't tell him. You can't let him know."

I let the topic go. I wasn't going to be the one to break Jack's heart anyways. It was between the two of them. Eventually, we decided it would be best if we just headed back home.

"Chlo, do you really think" My voice trailed off when I saw Corbyn packing my bags. "What's going on?"

He looked up at me and I could've sworn he had tears in his eyes. "Babe, what's going on?"

Corbyn took a shaky breath.. "Mads, I can't let you stay here..."
