Charlotte and Tommy were awoken in the morning by knocking on her door. She looked at the time, "fuck." She opened the door to find Chris standing with coffee for her. She saw his face change as he saw Tommy come out of the bedroom behind her, putting on his jeans. He was hurt and she hated seeing it.

Chris handed her the coffee, "I'll meet you downstairs."

Chris couldn't get the image out of his head of Charlotte standing in the doorway wearing another man's shirt. He could see the outline of her nipples through the shirt, her hair a mess. His heart sank to his stomach seeing the man come out of her bedroom. He knew she wasn't his, but it still hurt. He wanted her.

Charlotte shut the door and turned to Tommy who was pointing to the door, "was that who I think it was?"

She nodded as she stood in front of Tommy. "It was. I'm sorry I lied. I'm his personal assistant." She watched him as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt, sliding it slowly from her body. "Kiss me Tommy." He put his shirt on and nodded. She placed her arms on his bare chest, wrapping them around his back as she pulled his body back to hers. He kissed her urgently as she moaned before she had to push him away.

"Don't be sorry about lying Charlie. I understand." He trailed his fingers down her arms and back up to her face, cupping it softly in his hands as he bent down to kiss her. "Last night was amazing. Call me when you get back."

She wrapped her arms around his neck, "it really was. And I will." She kissed him again, making them both moan, wanting to return to the bedroom. "I really have to go. He's so mad already." He laughed as he watched her rushing around to find his shoes and socks before shooing him out of her apartment.

Chris groaned as he watched as the man from Charlotte's apartment leave her building, putting his coat over his barely buttoned shirt. The shirt that no doubt now smelled just like Charlotte. Chris knew it was the lawyer, he had googled him. He was smart, attractive, in shape and they obviously had a history. He was jealous of him, and the night he got to spend with his arms wrapped around Charlotte. He knew he had no right to be mad, but he was. She belonged to him.

Charlotte ran around her apartment, getting dressed quickly, making sure she had everything. She grabbed her coffee and found Chris in an Uber waiting for her. She sat next to him as he looked out the opposite window. "Thank you for the coffee Chris. Sorry I'm late."

He wouldn't look at her, he couldn't. "It's fine. Just don't make it a habit."

She reached over to grab his hand, "Chris" but he pulled it away. She decided not to say anything else as they rode to the airport. He didn't say anything on the plane ride or to the apartment.

Chris couldn't talk to Charlotte, he could barely look at her. When he did, all he saw was that man on her. Undressing her, laying with her. He couldn't stop thinking about it.

They looked around the apartment and Charlotte motioned to a bedroom, "that's the master, it has it's own bathroom." She turned around and motioned to the room on the opposite side of the apartment, "that'll be my room."

She started to walk away but Chris grabbed her hand, "thank you Charlotte. I have to go to the theatre to meet the cast and what not. Can you go buy groceries and whatever else you think we might need."

"Of course I can." She watched Chris go into his room, changing before he left her and Dodger alone in the apartment. She put her stuff away in her room and checked her phone. She had a message from Tommy.

<I miss you already. What if I come up there this weekend?>

Charlotte hesitated. She couldn't let him come up here without talking to Chris first. She decided not to answer him as she changed and went to the grocery store. When she returned she saw that Chris still wasn't back. She put all the food away and took Dodger outside. She changed and went for a run through the city. She didn't pay attention to how long she was gone, but it started to get dark. She returned to the apartment and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. She about jumped out of her skin as she turned around to see a smirking Chris watching her.

Chris heard Charlotte enter the apartment and watched her walk into the kitchen. She didn't notice him as he watched her in her leggings, her hair pulled up. She bent over grabbing a water bottle from the fridge, making him groan. He laughed as she turned around, jumping. "I didn't mean to scare you. You didn't hear me come in."

Charlotte grabbed her sides, leaning over, "it's fine. You really need to stop doing that." She motioned to her room, "I'm gonna take a shower."

Chris nodded, "I'll order pizza. Is that okay?"

"Sure." Chris watched her walk to the bathroom, shutting the door. He sighed as he heard the water to the shower turn on, knowing she was naked in such close proximity to him.

Charlotte finished showering and put the towel around her. She exited the bathroom to see Chris sitting in the living room with a pizza box on the table in front of him. She watched him eye her as she looked down. "I'll buy a robe." She blushed and ran into her room and shut the door. She didn't have her own bathroom like he did, so she would have to do this everyday. Or wait to shower when he wasn't there.

She came out of the bedroom in shorts and a hoodie and sat next to Chris. He opened the pizza box and handed her a beer and went back to finding something on the tv to watch. She started to eat a slice of pizza as she watched him try to ignore her. "Chris, we need to talk."

"If it's about this morning I'd really rather not." He turned on the couch to face her.

"I, I needed to try and erase the feel of your lips on mine." She couldn't look at him.

Chris ran his fingers through her wet hair, "I know. It's fine." He sighed and removed his hand, "you're not mine. You work for me, that's all."

She placed her hand on his leg, looking up at him, "that's not all. We're friends."

Chris smiled at her, "friends. Yes." He turned back to the tv and the pizza.

"There's one more thing. Tommy wants to come and see me this weekend."

Chris groaned and hung his head down, but didn't look at her. "Like I said, you're not mine. You're free to do what you want on your free time. Please, can we stop talking about it now? I'm still trying to erase the image of you standing in front of me in his shirt out of my mind." He looked at her and smirked, "the towel helped a little with that."

Charlotte laughed and hit him on the chest. They could be friends, they would have to be. For both of their sakes. After dinner and a movie, they both went into their separate bedrooms. Charlotte messaged Tommy.

<Sorry it took me so long to respond. I'd love to see you this weekend.>

She didn't expect him to respond so quickly but she heard her phone ding as she set it down. She picked it back up to read the message.

<That's great. I can't wait. I already miss your lips on mine. I never got over you Charlotte.>

Charlotte groaned because she missed him already too. He was going to help her get over Chris. She wasn't sure she was as in to Tommy as he was into her though.

<I can't wait either Tommy. I miss you too. I'll see you in a few days.>
