Charlotte was woken up a few days later by her phone ringing just after 5 in morning. She looked to see Chris calling her, "Chris? What's wrong?"

'Nothing. Get dressed. I'm outside. Dress casual. And don't worry, I'll have you back in time for work.'

She groaned and hung up the phone. She dressed quickly in shorts and a tank top with flip flops as she snuck quietly out of the house to find Chris leaning against his car. "It's so early Chris. What are we doing? The sun isn't even up."

"I know. Come on." He opened the passenger door for her, shooing her inside. He handed her a coffee as he climbed into the driver's seat.

"Oh good. That's better. Thank you Chris." She looked at him to see him smirking as he started to drive. She sat back as he drove them from the city, to seemingly the middle of nowhere as he parked the car, getting out to open her door, "have you brought me out here to kill me? Is that why you're still single Mr. Evans? Are you a secret serial killer?"

Chris laughed loudly as he helped her out of the car, "yup. You got me." He went to the back of the car and grabbed a picnic basket, grabbing her hand. They walked to a clearing over looking the city and the harbor.

"It's beautiful up here Chris." She watched him lay a blanket down as she sat with her coffee. He set out some flameless candles to light up their little area.

"I thought we could have breakfast together and watch the sunrise over the harbor. I made some eggs and brought some fruit and toast. I hope that's okay."

"It's perfect." She leaned over to kiss him as he pulled food from his basket. "I love it Chris." She ate her eggs before he leaned over, feeding her a strawberry.

"Have you thought about moving in with me? Or at the very least, working for me?"

She groaned, "I don't know Chris."

"You can work for me, but not move in yet. If you're not ready." He moved, sitting behind her, positioning her between his legs as they both looked out over the harbor.

Charlotte leaned back, resting her head on his shoulder, "I would be the boss?"

Chris chuckled, "I think we both know you always were."

She sighed contently as he wrapped his arms around her, "okay. I'll think about it Chris." She began to rub his legs with her hands, "I love you. This is great. Thank you for bringing me out here."

Chris moved the hair from her shoulder, "I love you too." He kissed her softly on her ear and neck, making her let out a soft moan as his beard tickled her neck.

She felt him reach his hands down to her shorts, undoing them, "what are you doing?"

"Shh." He reached one hand down into her shorts and panties finding her wetness. She moaned as she grabbed onto his legs. He held her body to his with one arm as his fingers found their way inside, making her squirm. She started to pant as she pulled her shorts off. His thumb found her clit as she leaned into him as he continued to kiss her neck.

"Don't stop Chris." She felt him hard against her back as she started to feel the waves washing over her. She closed her eyes as she dug her hands into his legs as she reached the peak of her orgasm. Her legs shook as he held tighter to her, letting her ride it out until he was sure she was finished. She sat for a minute, trying to catch her breath as Chris let go. She put her shorts back on, turning to face him, straddling him on the ground. She pulled his lips eagerly to hers, making them both moan.

Chris pulled away, "turn around and watch the sunrise with me." She nodded as she turned back the way they were, him holding her as they watched the sunrise over the harbor. She groaned when he pulled away from her, cleaning up their stuff. He laughed as he watched her stand up, "if you worked for me, we could stay a bit longer. But I promised to have you back in time for you to get ready for work."

Charlotte sighed, "you're serious? You want me to work for you? What if it came between us?"

Chris put the basket in the back of the car, "how would it?" He opened her door, shooing her in as he crossed to the drivers side. "You know how scatter brained I can be. I need someone to help me manage everything. There is no one I'd trust more than you."

She watched him as he drove, thinking about his offer. If she worked for him she'd be around him all the time, that was a definite plus. She couldn't deny that she enjoyed bossing him around. "It's been almost 7 months. You haven't hired a new assistant?"

Chris pulled in front of Tommy's house, "no. I was holding out hope you'd come back."

Charlotte laughed as he came around to open her door, "what does Nick have to say about that?"

Chris grabbed her hand as he walked her to the door, "I think after what happened last time he's leery about me hiring someone new anyways. And I'm just here filming at the moment. But I'll be busy, floating around this fall. I'll need someone by then." He stepped towards her on the porch, "someone organized. That can handle me." He ran his fingers through her hair, "someone say, named Charlotte?"

She laughed, resting her hands on his chest, "how about I come over for dinner tomorrow night and we can discuss the details? And I can spend the night?"

Chris beamed at her, grabbing her waist, "really?" He wasn't sure which he was more excited about, her working for him again or her spending the night.

"Is that okay?"

Chris nodded, "very okay."

She ran her hands up to his neck, "and wear a suit."

He laughed, "why?"

Charlotte kissed him, quickly parting his lips with her tongue. She giggled when he moaned before she pulled away, "so I can take it off you when we're done."

Chris raised one eyebrow down at her, "yes ma'am. I'll see you tomorrow night." He kissed her on the forehead before letting her go inside.

"Where have you been?" Charlotte jumped when she found Tommy in the living room.

"Fuck Tommy. Why are you skulking?"

Tommy stood up from the couch, laughing, "it's my house. I can skulk if I want to."

"Chris took me out for a breakfast picnic to watch the sunrise."

Tommy smiled, "wow. I'll have to steal that idea."

Charlotte hit him in the chest, "I have to go get dressed. Give me like 10 minutes?"

Tommy nodded, sitting back on the couch to wait for her.

Charlotte sat in the passenger seat while Tommy drove them to work like he always did, "so Chris wants me to come back and work for him. He also wants me to move in, but I told him I'm not ready to do that yet."

"Work for him? As his assistant again?"

"And his publicist." She hesitated, "I'm going over there tomorrow night to talk about it. I plan on spending the night."

"What? Woo! How long has it been?" Charlotte blushed as she shook her head.

"I've only slept with you and Sebastian over the last year and a half. And I haven't been with Sebastian for 2 months. How long has it been for you?"

Tommy looked at her smirking, "I hooked up with the girl from the bar the other night."

Charlotte laughed, "the one that was flirting with my boyfriend?"

"I've never heard you call him that before."

Charlotte smiled, leaning back on the chair, "I know." She looked back at her friend, "maybe I should move in with him. We were basically living together before in New York. We've been going back and forth for a year and a half. What do you think?"

Tommy laughed as he parked the car, "do you really want my opinion?"

Charlotte turned to face him, "I wouldn't ask if I didn't."

Tommy shrugged, "I agree. Hasn't it been long enough Charlotte?"

She sighed, "yeah. Maybe."
