Luckily Chris was busy a lot while they were in New York, so Charlotte didn't have to avoid him; they didn't have to avoid each other. She was actually looking forward to Tommy visiting her a few days after they had arrived. Chris had already left for the theater when she heard Tommy knock on the door late Friday night. She answered the door with a smile, she didn't know how much she had actually missed him until he stood in the doorway with his bag. He entered as Dodger attacked him with kisses. He smiled, bending down to pet him, "who's this?"

"That's Dodger, Chris' dog. Now get up here." Tommy laughed as he dropped his bag on the floor, grabbing her by the waist and lifting her as he kissed her.

"I missed you too Charlie." He grabbed his bag as she led him to her room, closing the door behind them.

"Have you eaten?" She bit her lip as she watched him take off his shoes and put his bag on the chair in the corner of the room before turning back to her, unbuttoning his shirt.

He threw his shirt on the floor as he watched Charlotte, "I only want you."

"Oh good, me too." She squealed as he lifted her easily, pinning her under him on the bed.

Chris woke up in the middle of the night and went to the kitchen to get a water bottle. He almost didn't see Tommy who was sitting at the counter eating a snack. Chris grabbed a water bottle and turned to him, "you must be Tommy. I'm Chris." He held his hand out to Charlotte's boyfriend who stood to shake his hand.

"Hey. I'm a big fan. I'm sorry if I woke you up. I don't sleep well."

"Thanks, I appreciate that." Chris half smiled at Tommy, not being able to stand to see him in the apartment. He knew he had to at least feign being nice, for Charlotte's sake. He was just as tall as Chris, maybe not as broad and blond. He stood in the kitchen in only his boxer briefs telling Chris he had slept with Charlotte again. Chris leaned against the counter with his water, "so you went to high school with Charlotte? What was she like?"

Tommy grinned, "oh well she was great. Did a bit of everything; cheerleader, choir, school plays. She used to play guitar, I don't know if she still does or not. She's a big comic book nerd too. I'm sure you guys have talked about that. We actually went to see Fantastic Four as a date when we were 17. She wouldn't admit it, but I'm pretty sure she left a little bit in love with Johnny Storm."

Chris laughed as she heard Charlotte come out of her room.

"Tommy?" Charlotte blushed as she saw Tommy in the kitchen with Chris. She could tell he was upset, seeing them together. "Chris, what are you doing up?"

Chris watched her come out of the bedroom, wearing Tommy's shirt again. He wanted her to be wearing one of his shirts. He held up his water, "I was thirsty. I'm going back to bed." He looked at Tommy, "it was nice meeting you."

As he made it to his room he heard Charlotte behind him, "come back to bed Tommy." He groaned as he shut his door. He laid on his bed staring at the ceiling, berating himself for hiring her. He should have just asked her out and hired someone else. Maybe then she would be in his bed, wearing his shirt right now. He couldn't help but be jealous that Tommy knew her so well. He had no idea that she read comic books or sang.

Chris wasn't even sure he slept after meeting Tommy and Charlotte in the kitchen. He noticed Dodger was gone as he got up and got dressed. He found Tommy in the kitchen again, this time dressed and making breakfast. "Where's Charlie?"
