Charlotte plops on their bed after finishing all of Chris' press and premieres for the year. "I don't want to go home." She sat up on her elbows to watch him unpacking his stuff. "Chris?"

He smirked at her laying on the bed, "spit it out love." He knew what she wanted as he crawled onto the bed, making her squeal as he laid on top of her.

She pulled him to her, "I need you to ask again. One more time."

He pretended not to know what she meant as he looked up, away from her, "ask you what?"

She grabbed his face, making him look at her, "Chris!"
Chris laughed, quickly parting her lips with his tongue as he felt her fingers in his hair. He pulled away, standing up and grabbing her hand, "follow me."
Charlotte groaned as she stood up to follow him, "but Chris. We weren't done."

"I know. Just hold that thought for a moment." She held his hand as he led her to a room in the basement. He smiled at her before opening the door, motioning for her to enter.

Charlotte looked at Chris before entering the room. He had set up and office for her. All her books and knick knacks were on the bookshelves and he put her guitar a big oversized chair in the corner of the room under the window. "Chris. When did you do this?"

"Well I've been working on it for a while since you left the first night you slept over. I had Tommy and Scott help while we were gone. So," he turned to face her, grabbing her waist, "you have a place to work where I won't bother you. Please, move in with me. Only thing missing is you and your clothes."

"Yes! Chris. Thank you." She wrapped her arms around his neck as he kissed her urgently again, lifting her off the ground. When he put her down, she put her hands on his chest, "one more thing."

Chris nodded his head, "anything."

"I want to go away for a bit, just you and me. Vacation? Before or after Christmas?"

"Are you kidding? That sounds amazing. Use the card I gave you. Whatever you want. Wherever you want, I will be there." He chuckled at her excitement, "now let's go and get the rest of your stuff from Tommy's?"

While Charlotte was in her room packing her clothes, Chris pulled Tommy aside in the kitchen. He pulled a box from his pocket and handed it to Tommy.
Tommy opened it, laughing, "I mean, that's really sweet Chris, but I'm not sure how Charlotte would feel if you married me and not her."

Chris rolled his eyes, "very funny. Do you think she'll like it?"

Tommy pulled out the ring, looking at it, "of course she will. She just wants you, that's all that matters." He put the ring back in the box and handed it back to Chris, "do you know when you're doing it yet?"

"I don't know yet. She told me she'd say yes if I asked, but I'm nervous anyways." He looked at Tommy, "this may seem silly, but she doesn't have any other family but you. I just wanted to make sure you're okay with me asking her to marry me."

Tommy laughed, "are you asking me for her hand in marriage?"

Chris shrugged, "you're her best friend. Her father is gone. Who else?"

"Well, Chris. Not that you need it, but you have my permission, or my approval. Whatever it is you're looking for."

Charlotte walked into the kitchen to find Tommy hugging Chris, "did I walk into a bro moment?" She looked at Tommy, "or did you finally convince him to choose you over me?"

Tommy laughed, shaking his head, "you make one comment." He looked from Chris back to Charlotte, "actually. I'm still seeing that girl from the bar. Her name is Olivia."

"Wait, the one that hit on Chris? You're still seeing her? I thought you just hooked up with her."

Chris laughed, "are you jealous?"

She hit Chris in the chest, "shut up. I'm not jealous. Just worried about the circumstances of the meeting, and wondering if she's good enough for Tommy." She looked back at Tommy, crossing her arms, "what does she do? How old is she? It doesn't bother you she flirted with Chris first?"

Tommy looked at Chris for help, but he just backed up, shaking his head. "Okay. She's 30 and an accountant. And no," he pointed to Chris, "have you seen this guy? Everyone is going to flirt with him." Charlotte scoffed as he continued, "she's well aware of the fact that Chris is in a serious relationship." Tommy took a step towards her, running his fingers through her hair, "just meet her, please?"

Charlotte looked at Chris, "well I haven't asked Chris yet, but I was going to see if you, Tiff and your mom wanted to come to Thanksgiving at Chris' mom's house. You're the only family I have really, would be nice for you meet his." Chris shrugged and nodded his approval, afraid to say anything.

"Sure. I'm sure they'd love that. And Olivia?"

Charlotte sighed, "I'll meet with her just us beforehand. She has to sign an NDA though."

Tommy laughed, "you didn't make me sign one. Even when we first started dating."

"I trust you, and you've never flirted with my boyfriend."

"Well, I have a bit." Tommy tried to stifle a laugh as he heard Chris laugh behind Charlotte.

"I hate you both so much."

"Okay. Okay. I'll make her sign an NDA." Tommy wrapped her in a hug as she felt Chris sandwich her between them, both of them laughing.

"Get off me, both of you." She pushed them off as they both pretended to look guilty. She turned to Chris, "can you put the rest of my stuff in the car?"
She waited until he left before turning back to Tommy, "are you serious about this girl?"

"Olivia. And yes. I think so."

"Okay." She wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest, "I'll take her out for lunch tomorrow."

"Thank you Charlie." He pulled her to him, holding her for a minute before letting go.

When they returned back to the house, Charlotte turned to Chris, "I'll be downstairs for a bit. I want to call Sebastian. We haven't really talked since your birthday, and things are getting serious here. I want to talk to him and check in."

"Hey, of course." Chris kissed her on the forehead, "I'll bring your stuff in and order dinner okay?"

"Perfect. Thank you Chris." She nodded before taking her computer downstairs to her office. She sighed and FaceTimed Sebastian. She waited nervously until she saw his smiling face pop up on the screen. "Sebastian, hi."

'Charlie. What's up?'

"I haven't heard from you in a few months. I wanted to check in." She hesitated as she watched his face, "I want us to be friends Seb."

She watched Sebastian shake his head, 'hey, we are friends. Okay? I'm sorry, I've been avoiding you. Knowing you were with Chris, I just. I'm sorry.'

Charlotte sighed, "I'm sorry Sebastian. I'm sorry if I hurt you, with my uncertainty, the back and forth. I love you."

'No. I knew you never stopped being in love with him. I tried to convince myself you would move on and choose me.'

"I know. I'm sorry Seb. That was the other reason I called, I've moved in. Things are getting serious here. I wanted you to know from me before hearing it somewhere else."

'You don't have to say it Charlotte, I can see it on your face. But, thank you. And hey,' she watched him lean forward to the screen, 'I love you too. I always will be and that means I want you to be happy. I know he does. And we'll always be friends. Okay?'

"Okay. Thank you Sebastian. I love you. So much."

'I love you too doll. I have to go.'
