For the next month Charlotte and Chris avoided each other for the most part. On the weekends Tommy came to visit Chris would stay in his room; he couldn't face them. Chris and Charlotte were both careful about making sure they were fully dressed before exiting their rooms.

Charlotte told Tommy to stop coming to see her because she thought they were moving too fast. She told him she wasn't really looking for a relationship, but that she would call him when she got back to Boston. He said he agreed and stopped messaging her.

She sat in the living room late one Saturday at the beginning of March as Chris entered the apartment, drunk with yet another girl on his arm.

In the morning she heard the girl in the kitchen Charlotte made the girl sign the paper and then made her leave the apartment. Charlotte went back to her own bedroom and slammed the door. She paced up and down her room as she heard Chris knock on the door, "Charlotte. Come on." She swung the door open to face him. "I'm sorry Charlotte. I'm just trying to do the same thing as you; forget. Besides, I thought Tommy would be here."

Charlotte shook her head, "no. I told him not to come anymore."

He leaned on her doorframe and crossed his arms, "why?"

"Because, he's great and everything, but he was more into me than I was into him," Charlotte looked from his eyes down to his chest and stomach, following the lines of the v of his adonis belt before looking him back in the eyes.

Chris grinned and ran his fingers through her hair. He leaned his lips close to her ear, "because you're into me?"

She moaned and pushed him away, "we can't. You know we can't, and you know why." All she wanted was for him to take her right then and there. To throw her on the bed and rip her clothes from her body.

Chris sighed and looked down, "well then I'm going to keep bringing girls home. I'm meeting Sebastian at the diner around the corner for breakfast. I'll see you later."

She scoffed and slammed the door. Charlotte got dressed and went back out to the kitchen to make herself breakfast. She found Chris' phone on the counter, "what would he do without me?" She rolled her eyes and grabbed her stuff and left the apartment.

She found the diner Chris had mentioned and found him sitting in the back. She placed the phone on the table, "you forgot your phone."

Chris's breathing began to quicken as he watched Charlotte approach him. He smiled up at her, "what would I do without you?"

Charlotte shook her head, "you don't want me to answer that." She heard a laugh and looked to see Sebastian looking at her.

"Hi."

"Sebastian, this is my assistant Charlotte." He motioned to Sebastian, "Charlotte, meet Sebastian Stan."

She blushed and nodded politely as she shook his hand. "I'm a big fan. I actually have every Winter Soldier comic." Chris looked at her shaking Sebastian's hand, instantly jealous.

Charlotte started to walk away but Chris stood up. "Hey, you're here now. Have breakfast with us." He motioned to the booth beside him.

"Sure." Charlotte took off her coat and sat next to Chris in the booth. She looked up at Sebastian and found him looking at her. His eye contact was intense as she stared into his steel blue eyes. He bit his lower lip and leaned forward, "it's nice to meet you Charlotte."

Chris watched them exchange looks, regretting asking her to sit down. Charlotte leaned back in the booth as their food arrived. They talked and ate, the three of them. She got along well with Sebastian, exchanging numbers when they finished eating.
