Chapter 13-The Honeymoon Phase

5 am

May woke up the same way she always did, thick blankets up to the tip of her nose, covering over her body like a cocoon. Shielding her from the morning chill. Her body had overheated, not to the point of sweating, but it gets uncomfortable at times until she breaks out of her shell the feel fresh air hit her skin.

Her bladder was killing her and she had to use the bathroom badly. The room was still dark, almost unbearable to see in the morning. Still half asleep, she still doesn't notice an arm draped over her body, securing her movement stationary.

That was until an arm pulled her closer as she felt the person behind her sleeping.

"Fuck."

Praying that this doesn't wake him, she held her breath shimming down the bed.

After closing the door behind her, she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. May didn't want to see to events last night in front of her just yet. To be honest, she hadn't had sex since her last breakup. And thought it'd be a while before she ever started dating again.

What are the odds?

"Okay, May let's see what we got so far."
She turns on the lights and for a few seconds open her eyes and looks into the mirror.

"Well, fuck I left my glasses." She sighs and squints her eyes bit. The first thing she noticed was....nothing. She grins a bit nodding her head in approval. "Skin you have done me justice again. Good job!" Mays skin has always been tough, could be easily bruised, never had a hickey in her life, made her save a lot of her beauty products.

Outside the bathroom, Ji-Cheol starts to stir awake. He was not a morning person. So when he forced himself to turn around and take a look that the time was only a few minutes past 5, he wanted God to kill him.

He groaned shutting his eyes and snuggling closer to where May should've been...only to find her side was empty. Looking through the dark he sees bright outlines from the bathroom door.

"Might as well get up then." He turns on the light and gets out of bed towards the bathroom. He only takes a few steps there and steps on something. Not a cracking sound but something that makes you wince and regret even walking in the first place. He picked up the object and his eyes widened, May's glasses. "Shit!" He checks the damage and blows out a sigh of relief.

Thankfully they weren't that damaged and all he had to do was fix the legs from caving into each other. He leans against the wall and waits there, hearing her just getting ready to come out.

"Oh fuck!" May yelped as she opened the door and was greeted by a fully naked Ji-Cheol, leaning against the door frame. She may be blind, but she's not stupid to not know the color outline of some things. She sees black on top, knowing it's his hair, is confused on the white and faintly purple spots all on his supposed neck and some parts down.

"Good morning to you too." He says smiling, he sees her eyes bug and squint and chuckles, before opening out her glasses and slowly putting them back in their places. May blinks at her eyes sight coming back then at the image before her.

He was covered in hickeys.

She covered her mouth to hold in a laugh.

"I'm so sorry."

"For what?" She looks away lowering her hands to shrug.

"It's just that...I don't think I have your shade of skin color to cover all that up." He tilts his head a bit confused then looks past her in the mirror. And his eyes widen.
