I didn't exactly want to be sitting in a tiny cafe with Kiersten, after going to hell and back looking for her phone number in the Yellow Pages. But I knew that I had to do it. Something had been nagging at me ever since everything happened and I had to get it off my chest with someone who understood me.

Besides, I barely knew anything about the girl except what she had revealed in her own interviews. And guilt had been eating me alive after Tracy had gotten a tiny cast on her arm so I needed to get my mind off of things at home.

"I've been researching. About Bill."

His name made my heart hurt.

"What about him?"

"He's been to jail twice in one year. And he used to live right here in town."

"Wow. What are you trying to find?"

"Why he took us. Why us?"

After watching one of Kiersten's interviews, I had found out that she was actually fifteen. Turned fifteen last month and she didn't even know it. I knew that she was an only child. But nothing could deny that Kiersten was smart. From her discovering that window back at the warehouse to her finding out all of this information about my deluded uncle.

I had some slight idea why he took me, though my theory was faulted. I mean, how crazy could family get. I couldn't deny that Bill was family, even if he was a pervert.

Just as Kiersten was pulling out the papers, I figured something out. I couldn't go without knowing for forever. I had to find out what happened years ago and why it affected me now.

"What's his address? I have an idea."
