Briella and I sat on the couch, quietly watching cartoons. It had been a while since we'd really spoken. I missed her.

Maybe she didn't know much about the whole situation. But that was okay because it made things lighter. It made the atmosphere lighter. I didn't have to worry about talking about those things with her because I'm sure she didn't care much.

"So...what's been going on?"

"Nothing really," I lied. "I really missed you."

"I miss you too. And we haven't really chilled in a while..." Briella bit her lip. "Thanks for inviting me over."

I chuckled. "Bri, you're my best friend."

Hearing those words come out my mouth I wasn't so sure anymore. I mean, Briella hadn't personally done anything to me. Just, things were awkward between us and I didn't feel as much support as I expected her to give me after I had come back. Plus, my bond had been getting much stronger with Kiersten even if she was 15 and I was 16.

Briella smiled, the nervousness leaving her face. She turned back to watching TV. Just then I heard the door knock.

I got up, fear in me for 1 second. What if it was Bill coming back for unfinished business?

I looked through the peephole and smiled. Opening the door, I practically jumped into his arms, his sweet cologne washing over me.

Grayson embraced me as if we hadn't seen each other in a long time. I just wanted to be like this forever but I had things to do today. Places to go.

"Hey." He said, his voice husky. His hand remained on the small of my back, a good tingly feeling crawling up my spine. I grinned as we walked to the living room.

"Who was at the–" Briella paused her words as she and Grayson locked eyes. Her face became red as she quickly stood up. I could feel Grayson tense up next to me.

"I think I should go." Briella said. She grabbed her purse making her way towards the door.

I grabbed her wrist. "Bri? What's wrong." I glanced at Grayson. He had magically wondered into the kitchen.

"N-nothing. My mom just texted me. I forgot t-to do the dishes."

What? Dishes? Why was she in such a hurry to leave? It didn't make sense.

"Uh...okay...?" I let go of her wrist as she practically ran to the door and then closed it behind her.

I shook my head. Briella could be so weird. I made my way to the kitchen and found Grayson digging in the cabinets nonchalantly.

"What was all that about?" I questioned. He shrugged not looking at me.

"Okay... Can you at least look at me?" I said. They were both acting weird. He obeyed, turning around and walking over to me, brushing his fingers over my cheeks.

"I barely know her babe. I don't know." He said, his eyes drifting down to my lips. I searched his ocean blue eyes looking for truth.

He ducked his head and his lips connected with mine. Any awkward emotions I had before were soon gone. What I had now was just lust.

My lips parted giving his tongue entrance. I let out a little moan as he pressed my body against the wall. "Grayson." I sighed. My lower body was screaming for him.

He softly bit my lower lip and then trailed open mouth kisses down to my neck. "Mm." I couldn't control the moans coming out of me. I didn't even sound like myself.

He sucked and lightly bit on my neck as my hands played in his thick black hair. It seemed like forever until he came back up and opened his eyes. The light blue in his eyes had turned to a dark blue. Lust. He looked at me over hooded eyelids and bit his lip, walking back to the kitchen.

I stayed against the wall, gasping for air. My heart was competing in a triathlon. I took a deep breath, collecting myself as I walked to the living room and waited for him to get back from making popcorn.
