Chapter 6: Sports Festival

A/N: This is just to notify you that the images on each chapter will not be showing up anymore because it's taking up too much of my storage just sitting in my photos T-T. However, at the Epilogue, all Fanart will be at the bottom of the chapter. Also sorry for the inconsistent updates.

It was the day of the sports festival, Iida and Izuku are heading to Yuuei and are both shaking in excitement. Izuku had gathered all his things before hand so he can take notes. Since Izuku will be Iida's pass for a guest, Izuku will sit up in the stands for the sports festival.

Iida was ready, he learned a lot from Izuku before hand and was excited to show Izuku how much of a hero he can be. Izuku next to him, was vibrating, he just couldn't help but feel like he drank four cups of coffee.

"I'm so excited! I get to go to Yuuei with you! See you work your hardest! I'll learn all about the different quirks!" Izuku was rambling on. Once they made it to the gate, Iida raised up the guest pass as the two walked through. "Alright Izuku, do you remember what to do?"

Izuku froze. "Yep! Follow the crowd to the stadium!" He said cheerfully. "Good, I'll see you in the stands soon alright." Iida said as he cupped Izuku's cheeks as he kissed his forehead. Izuku giggled, "alright, alright."

Iida was about to leave before Izuku grabbed his hand gently, he looked to see Izuku shy. "If you end up winning, I'll bake you you're favorite chocolate cake and give you many many kisses." Izuku flushed, Iida gasped. "I will win! Try my absolute hardest!" Before running away, making Izuku giggle.

Iida was in the locker, getting on the gym uniform. "I can't wait to see everyone cheering for us!" Kaminari said. "Yeah dude! It's going to be awesome!" Kirishima replied back. Iida was wondering if Izuku was at class 1-a's post where he should be.

Going to the starting line, many Yuuei students are present, all in the same gym uniform. Nedzu, the principle, counting down as everyone got into position. Class 1-A knew the first thing was to jump due to Todoroki's lack of care.

The buzzer went and the doors opened. The first obstacle was a race to the finish. Todoroki froze the ground, some people got stuck while others were free. The first set of course was the bigger version of robots they fought at the entrance exam.

Todoroki seemed to get the hang of it was a huge blizzard of ice crashed onto the robot, making it freeze in place as others kept running. Iida making a good head as he was at the second part of the race, the tightrope.

He used his quirk to make swift marks on the rope, easily making balance due to the pace. Quickly getting done with the obstacle, though Todoroki and Bakugou were neck and neck. He had made it to the third part, the land mines.

Many parts of the ground exploded, even the littlest of movement was detected. Though it wasn't as fast as his quirk, he quickly ran through the dirt field, quickly getting past the explosions that were streaming behind him.

He finished the race swiftly, getting a good score while the others who finished early were waiting. Bakugou got in first place, whilst Todoroki got in second. Other students were finishing, while other students were getting past, Iida was looking for his boyfriend in the stands.

The sports festival had been tons of fun, there were many other games such as a team game for rolling a inflatable rolling ball. Then they had to do four player team game on getting points. Iida's group ended up winning first place in that one, that game was hectic.

Izuku was cheering for him in the 1-A stand, making a bubbly feeling in Iida's stomach, sending butterflies. However, Iida couldn't help but notice how Bakugou kept looking around every time Izuku was loud enough.

After that game had ended, they were now heading towards the finals, a one-on-one battle. Iida had fought against Mei Hatsume, it wasn't much, just chasing around a promoter for ten minutes before winning by default.

After that he went and headed towards the 1-A stands, spotting Izuku next to the exit door, hidden from his classmates. He made a quick wave towards him before sitting down.

After watching his classmates, it was now his turn to go again, heading towards the exit where Izuku is, he snatches a quick kiss as he heads downstairs flustered. As he walks into the ring, he gets ready before midnight announces the battle.

After midnight says start, Iida used his quirk to boost himself behind her, catching her off guard as he drags her out of the ring, making him win the match.

As he gets back from his match, he sits with his friends Uraraka Ochako and Momo Yayorozu, as he was chatting his phone started to ring, his mom being the caller as he noticed the contact name.

"Uh- Sorry but I need to get this call." Iida said politely, "oh no worries!" Uraraka said bubbly. He scurried out the exit door as he went into the hallway.

Pressing the answer button, he brings the phone up to his ear. "Mom? What's wrong?" "Tenya, It's tensei." His mother said breathless, he froze in place. His brother? He started to panic.

"What? What's wrong? Is he okay? What happened?" "He was caught up by the hero killer." He heard his mother's distress cries from the call, his face paled as horror struck his face.

"Is he okay!?" He practically yelled out into the hallway. "He's alive, but he's in the hospital." "I'll be right there." Iida hung up. "What happened?" He heard Izuku say.

Izuku was just walking down the steps and was leaning against the wall, a worried look on his face. "Izuku I need to go, tensei is in the hospital because of stain." Izuku gasped as his face looked panicked.

"Is he alright?" "Yes he's stable, I'm going to go to the hospital right now." Iida said as he received a hug from Izuku. "Alright, be safe." They shared a quick kiss before Iida left.

Izuku looks into the hallway Iida just left in. He sighed heavily, he wishes that tensei gets better soon. He heard the announcements say who's in for the next battle. He's going to continue watching the sports festival. He just hopes Iida won't do anything stupid, though he does know it is Iida he's talking about.

He'll do anything for his loved ones.
