His Cold Wife

Y/N's POV

The ride home is so silent. He won't talk nor i am. I'm just too lazy to start a conversation.

But this kind of life style is not a freakin ideal!! Plus, i have no plan on making him uncomfortable around me. So i have no choice since he really seems uncomfortable.

Why not make this easy for him?

Y/N: "forgive me for not being good in starting conversation but this is what i am." I calmly said, still focusing on the road.

Jungkook: "no, it's okay. I'm not also good at it." He shrugged.

Y/N: "to not make this boring, i'll just ask you some things. It's not too personal if you ever think it is. No need to worry."

Jungkook: "feel free to ask."

Y/N: "tell me your ideal wife." I blurted out. It's really stupid for me to ask this but damn it! What would i ask?!

Jungkook: "w-what?"

Y/N: "i'm asking what's your ideal wife. I'll see it if i can fit on it."

Jungkook: "are you really asking this?" He asked, not believing what i just asked.

Y/N: "listen. I'm trying to be a lowkey kind hearted here, okay? I'm asking your ideals to do it. For you." I looked at him but he's staring back at me already.

A giggle left his mouth while staring at my confused face so i looked away.

Jungkook's POV

I like the part she apologized for being a quiet person and especially when she asked what's my ideal wife.

It somehow made me happy that i giggled infront of her.

'Cause her asking it, shows that she really care for my feelings. I can't wait to see more of her sides.

Jungkook: "can we continue this conversation once we reached home?"

She looked at me for a second then nodded.

Y/N: "it's up to you."

Y/n parked the car at the garage. Once she turned off the engine, she sighed heavily.

Y/N: "from now on, i need to get use to this."

"Gather your shits Y/n." She murmured but enough for me to hear.

Jungkook: "everything will be alright." I said in a calm tone.

Y/N: "i hope so. Come on." She sighed and got out of the car as i did the same.

"You know every places in this house?" She asked once we came inside.

Jungkook: "no, actually. We only came here twice and we didn't explore too much."

Y/N: "follow me then." She said, back with her no expression again.

"Now choose. Shared bedroom or separate?"

Her question caught me off guard. If i chose shared, we'll gonna be in a same room especially bed! But we are married....

What will i choose?! Oh gosh help me!!

Jungkook: "s-separate...i guess?" I answered. Not so sure.

Y/N: "you can have the room across mine. I have the primary bedroom that's placed at the end of the hallway. Knock on my door when it's important."

(Primary bedroom means the largest bedroom. We can call it Master bedroom too but that words are mostly used for men's room.)

"Feel at home and just help yourself." She said and turned around, starting to walk away to head in her room.

Not wasting the chance i have, i called her name.

Jungkook: "Y/n." She stopped and turned to me.

"Can we, uhm continue the conversation earlier, in the outdoor patio?" I shyly asked.

Y/N: "go and freshen up yourself." That's all she said and fully went in to her room as i just sighed and head to my room too.

.....

After half of an hour of fixing my things and freshen up, i got out of my room too.

I looked towards her closed door. Is she inside there or outside?

What if she doesn't want to continue it and just went to sleep?

I'm feeling down already after asking myself that. I just really really want to have a conversation with her.

For me, she's not boring. She's entertaining. I want to talk to her and know her more. Plus, i'm her husband!

Sighing a bit sadly, i drag my feet to go to the outdoor patio to just relax myself there if she doesn't want to continue it.

Once i open the door to go outside, my tracks stopped when i spotted her figure, sitting down at the couch already. Her back facing me.

The house might be a bit huge one but the outdoor patio that was placed at the backside of this house is just simple but calming.

Y/N: "took you long enough, Mr. Jeon." She said, glancing at her shoulder.

A smile plastered on my lips. Happy that she's here.

Jungkook: "sorry." I sat down at the other side of the couch.

Y/N: "so may i know your ideals now?"

I looked up at the sky, smiled and look at the fire again.

Jungkook: "it's just simple." I said as she look at me, giving her full attention.

"A wife who will stay with me through ups and downs. Someone who could do anything for our love. Someone who can make me smile and calm like what my Mom were doing whenever i'm feeling down and a wife who can make me feel loved. Someone who can take care of me the way i take care of her." I then looked at her as our eyes connected.

"Lastly. Someone who would do anything to protect our relationship."
