"So it's been two days since you kissed Draco and you two haven't talked about it?" Pansy asked Y/N as they were walking to their dormitory to get their school books. "No we haven't" Y/N said, "anyway I don't want to ruin our friendship we have" Y/N continued grabbing her Care of Magical Creatures school book. "I know you two have a great and close friendship especially since your two families are involved, but you two also have some serious crush and love eyes going on" Pansy said as she held Y/N's arm. "We don't" Y/N said, "Draco is just a friend that happens to be attractive" Y/N continued and Pansy laughed, "you kissed him and he liked it" Pansy said in defence before she walked out into the Slytherin common room.

Y/N was walking out in the hallways thinking about the kiss that her and Draco shared two days ago. She didn't know what to think about it, she liked Draco as a friend because he had always been there for her but she was starting to have some serious feelings for the older boy that she couldn't shake away. She knew that Draco probably didn't feel the same way so she couldn't just talk to him about the kiss, she had to wait for the perfect moment.

Draco was sitting with Crabbe and Goyle yelling at Harry Potter as they usually did, but Draco wasn't throwing the insults that he usually did towards Potter, something else was on his mind, Y/N. He thought about their kiss on Halloween night and couldn't shake the feeling that she was the one to choose to kiss him out of the other boys. Draco couldn't blame her though, Crabbe and Goyle weren't that attractive and Blaise was bisexual and would have been too surprised to kiss her back. Draco thought about how Y/N's lips were soft and delicate and how he just wanted to kiss her once more but he knew he couldn't. It was a dare, Y/N kissed him as a dare, not because she wanted to kiss him.

Y/N walked out into the garden as she had 'Care of Magical Creatures' with Hagrid and Draco with his two minions. Y/N walked with Neville Longbottom down to Hagrids hut near the forbidden forest as he was trying to open his school book before it started ripping his shirt. "To open the book you need to stroke the spine like this" Draco said behind Y/N as he felt down her spine, "go away Draco" Y/N said as she pushed Draco away from her making him laugh with his friends. Draco could be so annoying sometimes and Y/N didn't like when Draco would tease her in front of his friends because he knew that she got shy quickly.

Hagrid brought forward a hippogriff, "this is Buckbeak" he said and threw a dead ferret to the creature while everyone watched in fear. "You must bow down to earn his trust and he will bow back meaning he trusts you" Hagrid began speaking, "now if he don't bow back, well, we will get to that when it happens" he continued. "Now who wants to go first" Hagrid asked the class and everyone stepped back expect Harry, "ah Harry perfect" Hagrid said and pulled Harry towards the creature making him bow in front of him.

Harry ended up flying on the back of Buckbeak while the rest of the class started talking among themselves, "he really is an idiot" Draco said and Y/N rolled her eyes at the comment. "Sounds like your jealous Draco" Y/N said as she walked towards the boys, "who me? Jealous of Potter? Never" Draco said and pulled his robe closed looking away from Y/N. "I said it sounds like you are jealous, not that you are jealous" Y/N said and walked to sit with Ron and Hermione who were talking about how Harry was lucky to ride a hippogriff.

Hagrid whistled so Buckbeak could come back down to the ground and as Harry was getting pulled off by Hagrid, Draco thought it would be a good idea to challenge the creature. Draco walked towards Buckbeak and challenged the beast before Buckbeak got offended and jumped on his back legs falling back down hitting Draco's right arm as he was trying to protect his face from the creature.

"It's killed me" Draco said as he was lying on the ground, Y/N felt something in her body and ran towards Draco. "Draco are you okay?" Y/N asked and Hermione called behind them, "he needs to go to the hospital" and Hagrid came to pick up Draco's body. "Class dismissed" Hagrid said as he carried Draco to the hospital wing with Y/N following close behind with their belongings.
