Chapter 42 - Part 2
Chalkline's POV
I closed the door behind me and close my eyes. I realise that she had made her decision and clearly this was not the last of me seeing her.
"Everything good G?" Czar asked.
"Yeah man, just drop me home. I need to get some sleep" I replied.
The music playing in the car set the mood for the night. I asked Czar to wind the windows down so I could feel the breeze on my face. I could not explain how I was feeling right now but I know I was feeling something.
Stacy's POV
Tricia's chat
Me: Text Czar and ask him where he is.
Tricia: I did already and he said he was on his way home.
Me: Ok.
Tricia: Is everything ok?
Me: I think you will know everything when Czar reach home. I'm too tired to explain.
Tricia: Alright talk to you in the morning.
Me: ok.
I wanted to call him and asked him to just come home but I was afraid of what he might say to me. I knew he was wrapped up in his emotions right now and him being this he was hard to handle.
I heard when a car pulled into the driveway. I look out to see him coming out of the car. I thought about pretending to sleep but that would only drive me mad. It took longer than usual for him to get into the room. I was just happy he was in the house to be honest.
"Why you not sleeping?" He asked.
He walk straight to the bathroom before I could even answer him. I sat up in bed waiting as he took a shower.
"Where were you" I asked soon as he got out of the bathroom.
"Just went to clear my mind" He said
His mind didn't seem to be cleared to me. You could see it all on his face, he was never one to hide his feelings so everything showed.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"I am great Stacy. Just please stop asking me questions, I need to get some sleep"
He got into the bed without saying another word. I was wondering how long things are going to be like this. He tapped his chest twice as way of telling me to rest my head there. I did, I listened to his heartbeat until I fell asleep.
Tricia's POV
"So the lady is Line mother for real? So that makes Mystro his brother? So how he took all of this? Why you never bring me?" I asked.
I had so much questions to ask but Czar wasn't giving me everything at once. I need to find Stacy and talk to her face to face. This can't talk over phone.
"Look just dress nice later, do your hair and makeup. Line having a party and you are invited" He said.
"He is keeping a party after hearing this news? No Jay me nuh trust this. Me not putting on no makeup to part fight or be involved in a shoot out or end up a hospital tonight. This just sound like a bad idea" I said.
Line upto something and I don't want to be a part of it. Stacy not answering my calls or messages.
"Maybe he just wants to clear his head and having a party might be the best idea to him"
