i am a lover
i can cross galaxies
to reach you
but you would
still pick on
fragments of my
broken skull, picking
on the putrescent and bloodied flesh.
i guess in a universe of pearl galaxies
and coruscating supernovas
i was just a girl,
a speck of dust
i was nothing
but you my love,
were
everything.
[our hearts carry chasms ofbubbling darkness that climb up our throats and constrict us. your honeydew skin and opal lips flutter against my starlit bones; you melt into me and like a fool i believe you're mine. but you can never be mine. we are an amalgamation of tethered skeletons and sickly sweet poison-the only thing we can do is burn and detonate into countless meteorite fragments]
i thought i could somehow
make you mine
but you are already
worlds apart.
out of all of the mistakes i made, you were the most deadly. i never thought death could be the galactic fluorescence that seeped into my bruised skin with fluttering kisses and tepid ultraviolence of effulgent stars blending into the inked skies. you were my death but i welcomed you with apple cheeked smiles and radiant moons.
