As the three were walking to Robert's house, they heard footsteps behind them. Ross, who seemed to be curious about the light stomps, came to a halt and gestured to Roy and Robert to stop for a sec too. "Guys.. Do you hear that?" He whispered. They all stopped and listened for a while before turning around to figure out who (OR WHAT?!) it was..
But to no avail.
There was no-one there. Just the same windy side-walk they prodded across just a minute ago. "That's kind of creepy.." Ross thought aloud. Roy, who was also kind of creeped out, tried to hide it. "AW! Do you STILL actually believe in ghosts, Ross? They're not real. It was probably just the wind." Roy didn't want to sound like he was a little bit scared (or that he CARED about his friends and literally just tried to calm and reassure them). Robert started walking. "C'mon dudes. Let's just go, maybe Roy's right." So they continued on walking. Soon after, they heard a twig crack right from behind them. Ross dashed around acting paranoid af. "I don't think that was the wind." He said, and the two other boys turned around too. Suddenly, two shadows from behind them screamed:
"SPOOKY MONTH!!"
Robert, a little startled, turned around first before being calmed by the sight of the two kids dressed in Halloween costumes. They were crouching and doing some sort of.. dance? (IT IS SPOOKY MONTH GUYS!!!) Roy, who was a little startled too, looked a little bit- VERY annoyed. "OH MY GOD. IT'S NOT EVEN HALLOWEEN. DON'T FRIGGIN SCARE US LIKE THAT YOU STUPID KIDS." The two kids, one Skid and the other, Pump, giggled amongst (AMOGUS LOL) themselves. "He doesn't know it is a Spooky month, Pump!" Skid giggled. "I think so!" Pump giggled too. Roy wasn't exactly shouting but he wasn't exactly talking either. Ross, who had a literal heart-attack for a split second, put his hand on Roy's shoulder and said, "Roy, it's ok. They're only kids.." Ross looked waisted like his soul escaped his body. "YEAH THEY'RE KIDS BUT THEY GAVE YOU A SPLIT-SECOND STROKE!" Roy found it hard to show his friends he cared about them but he really gave it his all right now. "Go easy on them. C'mon they didn't kill me." Ross sheepishly smiled at Roy. "Fine." Roy huffed, looking away from Ross and back at the kids.
Robert looked at the kids, an idea came into his mind and his eyes lit up. "BROS! Why don't they come over too?" Robert looked exited. "Wha- the stupid kids?" Roy could NOT believe himself right now. Robert ACTUALLY wanted these two weirdos to join them?! "Yeah! It would be so friggin cool! C'mon!" Robert stared at Roy with puppy-eyes. Roy, conflicted with himself looked at Skid and Pump, then back at Robert. "Hey.. Let's give it a try. Could be fun?" Ross agreed. "FINE."
