..HELLO. I'm not even going to say anything. I have ditched this story - BUT I WILL IGNORE MY RESPONSIBILITIES NO LONGER!! Read on, and enjoy.
Third person pov
The door opened - creaking slightly. The boys looked over to a tall woman on the other side. Ross greeted her; "Hi.." sounding awkward.
Her eyebrows raised. "Roy, Ross? Where's Robert?" Robert's mom opened the door a bit wider so she could fully see the two, peaking out slightly and looking around for any sign of Robert aswell.
"Ahem.." Ross spoke, running a hand through his raven hair to slick it back. "That's why we're here, actually. We thought.. you would know where he is, ma'am." He cringed at the 'ma'am' bit, even though it was just a gesture intended to be polite. Roy nodded as Ross spoke, as if to confirm his story. She took a step back to think. "He told me he was going to see you. Are you sure you haven't seen him at all?" Her tone was slightly worried now, and the way her foot was tapping against the wooden floor inside the house impatiently was becoming more and more apparent. Her face briefly lit up, as if she remembered something else worth mentioning to the two.
"But," She spoke, "He did say he would stop at that Candy store near-by.. If that helps. Have you been there?" Robert and Roy shook their heads 'no', acknowledging their next stop. Her voice was a bit on edge, as if still concerned. "Go over and check if he's there. If you still can't find him.. come back and let me know. It's late and that gets me nervous.." She chuckles awkwardly as she speaks. "Will you?"
Ross nods and she looks at them both gratefully. "Thankyou, boys. If you don't come back to tell me you can't find him, I'll assume you guys have reunited. Have a good time.." Ross smiles and gives her a polite thumbs up. "Will do. Thankyou." Roy rolls his eyes, amused at his friends mere politeness and friendliness, even though it's just common decency.
Robert's mom waves them off as she closes the door, the two boys now walking away from Robert's house - heading for the Candy club (The near-by candy store mentioned by Robert's mom, they assumed). Roy crosses his arms, acting displeased with the whole talk with the woman despite it being necessary to find their friend.
"What a waste of time." He grumbles, with his usual attitude. Ross just shakes his head at Roy, ignoring his whiny-ness that didn't really affect the situation. "Atleast now we know where to go." Ross pauses, and then speaks again, grinning slightly. "And hey," He speaks in a positive, yet teasing tone. he nudges Roy. "We might get some candy on the way."
Roy shrugs him off as if staying grumpy, but he blushes and smiles to himself on the inside at Ross's gesture. "Yes, ma'am." Roy snickers, mocking his friend.
