Chapter 11-On The Rooftop

I grabbed my books so Jacob could have his space to place other stuff.

Jacob:Thank you

Mr.Bob:Okay class,let's move onto the lesson.Ashley,hope you can share your textbook with the new student cause he hasn't collected them yet.

Ashley:Okay sir

Mr.Bob:So chemical equations,.....

I wonder if Jacob's a stalker or something for real...First he appeared in my class out of nowhere and now he's sitting right next to me staring at my book...

"Sorry for all the trouble caused by me,but as you can see,you are the only person who I at least know the name of..."

True though,I would have acted the same if I was in his shoes...

*Time Skip*

Amelia:Ash,we are going to the cafeteria,wanna join?

Ashley:May be next time,ya'll go ahead...

Olivia:You knew she'd refuse as usual right?By the way,where's that new guy who stole the seat next to you?

Zayn:Why bother to find him...C'mon let's go,I'm starving...

Jacob was really no where to be found inside the classroom.Without being distracted by him,I started walking to the rooftop. Usually students are prohibited from going there so it was the only place I could have some my time without any trouble.

???:But I can't do it dad. I mean,that's not right.What if they really get to know?

???:Dad,I can really understand what you are trying to say,but I feel that knowing this won't do any good to us.

It didn't take long for me to realize that this voice which came from the other side of the rooftop was definitely Jacob's. I didn't mean to eavesdrop in his conversation,but something felt odd in the cracking voice of him. So I decided to stay where I was for few more minutes when...

*Buzzz...buzz*

Crap,I didn't know my phone wasn't on silent mode when I saw a call from Amelia on it. I hurried my steps to the basement on the staircase to pick up that.

Amelia:Hey Ash where are you?Anyways our next class will be free since Ms.Yerin is on a leave today...And since we are really not interested for the Maths lesson afterwards,we are going to skip school,I know you won't come with us as usual,I just wanted to inform you.So bye buddy,see you!

With that said she ended the call...It's not the first time they were leaving like this,so now I'm quite used to it.They mostly skip school after the lunch break and come back around the ending time to leave home again.Lucky kids who have the freedom to do such things, I can't even imagine the consequences I'd have to face later...

I turned back around to see Jacob staring right infront of me...

Jacob:Oh...so you were the one stalking my conversation in the rooftop. I wondered who else dared to come here as it's restricted.

Ashley:Correction,I was not stalking you cause I didn't really hear anything or whatever. Also I come here since the first days I joined this school,so I thought who else would be here...

Jacob:Okay I see,then sorry for coming to your secret site,but I guess I'll come here quite often cause the view is really amazing...

He was correct,even I fell in love with the sight when I first came which is why I continued visiting here...

Jacob:I bet you didn't eat anything since you headed here,Have this...

He said,while placing a burger infront of me...I had my lunchbox which Mary prepared in the bag,but I was too lazy to go down and get it now. So I just accepted it...

Ashley:Thanks

Jacob:My pleasure!By the way,what is our next class?

Ashley:It's supposed to be English Literature but I guess it'll be free since Ms.Yerin is absent.

Jacob:Great then!Can I ask you for a favour please?
