LOGAN'S P.O.V

MINUTES BEFORE CHLOE MEETS JAY

Chloe just left and told me to keep these guys distracted , question is how? I could just take them out one at a time , but that would give one enough time to get to Chloe and if I take them both at the same time , I have no chance of winning , what should I do?

I use my foresight to scout out the 2 opponent team members , and thankfully, there's a good 25 meter gap between them by estimation , if I do this quietly, taking them out one at a time can actually work . So who's first ? I feel I can take the girl down . okay, here goes nothing .

I get closer and closer to the girl silently , I climb up a tree and once I'm above her , I take a deep breath

Logan : here goes nothing I guess

But in a blink of an eye , she's right in front of me , "how did she jump that high and that fast" I thought as she looks me straight in the eye .

Girl : trying to assassinate me huh? , Well that was a bold and stupid decision

She says and just like her jump , she quickly swings her hand at me , not in a fist but in a claw hand gesture aimed at my neck  , lucky I was fast enough to dodge it and  she ended up slicing the tree , leaving  really , REALLY deep  cuts in it , so deep that one little push and the top of the tree comes falling down

Logan's mind  : imagine if that actually hit me , I would be dead by now

I jump down to find somewhere I can hide , I spot a cave and ran there as fast as I can , but stealthy so she can't find me . I get there and hide , trying to figure out a game plan .

Logan : let's see , claws , can jump high and is super strong , what animal powers does she have ........................mmmh , WAIT! she aimed for my neck , only tigers and lions aim for the neck to kill their prey because it's a soft spot , so what animal can take down a lion or tiger ? A jaguar! Jaguars kill their prey usually tigers by aiming for the skull , meaning if I want to knock her out , I need to hit her skull , but what if I kill her (─.─||）sh*t , well I guess I shouldn't hit her that hard then . Okay game plan set , let's go , WINGS SPROUT!!

I fly out the cave only to see her outside "I hope she didn't hear my plan" I thought and flew higher , my plan is to fly high enough and come down in a missile spiral motion to create impact on her head , hopefully I don't cause any leathal damage .I get to a point where  I think I'm high enough, here goes nothing .

I come at her at full speed but slow down to not hurt her , but I notice something , she's intertwining her claws and covering her head with them , I guess I was right , her weak spots are like those of tigers , THEIR HEADS ( AN : not a fact 😅 )

Though I am moving fast , it feels like time Is moving slow , but now it's the moment of truth , exposing my own eagle claws I collide with hers , sparks appear as we push against each other and luckily , the advantage of gravity is on my side . I give one more powerful flap of my wings and finally she's left defenseless , I retract my claws as quickly as I can and knock her out , I check her pulse and luckily she's still breathing

She falls to the ground and a sense of pride overflows my body " I did it! " I said to myself , but then it hits me , there were two of them ! , I fly up and use my foresight and spot Chloe trapped in a web and the guy I spotted talking to her .

I land and look around for something I can use to knock him out too . I spot the  tree the tiger girl sliced and pullout a branch I can use to hit him .

I ran over there while carrying the huge branch in both my hands , I get close and I get ready to throw it , "here goes nothing " I throw it with all my might and I successfully hit him as Chloe gets freed from the web , I guess when someone is knocked out , there powers get disabled or something .

I walk to Chloe to see if she's okay

Logan : you ok ?

Chloe : yeah , wait aren't you supposed to be taking care of the other person from the other team?

Logan: already done ( I said with a huge smile knowing I took her down )

Chloe : well if that's the case .....

Chloe got cut off when we heard a loud male scream and after that , we saw Adrian flying over us ,  landing and getting stuck in a tree a few meters away

Logan : wait was that....?

But before I could finish my sentence , Chloe cuts me off

Chloe  : OUR FLAG!!!

Present time

And then realisation hits me , as me and Chloe quickly ran to our base to see a girl lowering our flag from the flag pole

Chloe  : Kim!

Kim : oh hi Chloe , no hard feelings but I need your flag, I really don't want to do gaurd duty

They must know eachother I guess , well friend or foe , we can't lose and from the determined face Chloe has on, I think she feels the same
