CAMPING (part three)

CHLOE'S POV

I woke up with the rising suns rays hitting my eyes through the tents  material , I got up and noticed that Kim and Layla had already woken up and we're not in the tent with me , so I got up and got one of my jackets and got out of the tent . I looked around to see if Logan was awake so I could talk to him , I mean this IS supposed to be a team bonding exercise .

I spotted him going into the woods , maybe for a walk , I decided to join him in whatever it was he was doing ,but I then bumped into Ethan .

Ethan : oh , I'm so sorry ................Chloe right ?

Chloe : yep! Good morning!

I said with an optimistic attitude, even though he was interfering in my plan to talk to logan and get to know him more

Ethan : morning

He said with his British accent, I won't deny that fact that it made him sound very attractive , but I had my eyes on someone already. I realized that when I bumped into him , he had dropped some wood , I got down and picked up the pieces , but then I wondered .......

Chloe : what are you gathering wood for , isn't it too early to start a fire?

Ethan : oh no , me and Jay want to practice some of our long rang attacks

Chloe : oh yeah ! ,I've been meaning to ask , what are you powers?

Ethan : I have porcupine based powers , I can shoot out sharp toothpick like objects from my knuckles that I can use to paralise people .

From that alone I can tell his an assassin , sniper like actually, his powers are perfect for it .

Chloe : whoa! , That's cool , so does that mean you have some kind of poison or have you studied all pressure points of a human .

Ethan : I have poison actually , which makes it easier for me to shoot than to spot a pressure point which would take time

He said with a smile and I honestly got so intrigued that I forgot about Logan ...... LOGAN! , I looked behind Ethan and saw Logan in the same spot as earlier talking to yara and I got a slight ting of jealousy in my heart .

Chloe's mind: Well there goes my chance

Ethan : hey if you're free you can join me and Jay

Chloe : sure , it's not like I have anything better to do

I sounded a bit grumpy and rude , but I didn't care , I got even more jealous when I saw Logan and Yara laughing .

Chloe's mind : there are other chances you will get Chloe , calm down .

LAYLA'S POV

I was probably the first person to wake up , something I wasn't surprised of given the fact that I usually wake up at 4 am to train, but today I didn't feel like training, I just wanted to seat and relax . I went into the woods and when I got deep enough, I found a river , it's water was shinning as the sun's rays hit it . It was perfect , the sun rising above the waters , the water looking as clear as sea water would look , birds chirping and the sounds of the waves hitting the Stones . I had found the perfect place to come too when I need to relax during this camping trip .

Dang it , the camping trip . Don't get me wrong , I was excited, I was starting to form bonds with my squad members , expect Adrian of course , but it just seemed like no one liked me , but again it's something I'm used to too . When I was younger I would constantly be Bullied and made fun of all because of one guy , the guy I had a crush on , not only me , all the girls were head over heels for him and as mentioned before, I was no exception . One day he asked me out and I honestly thought it was joke , well it was , but I didn't realize it  . At one of his friends parties he got everyone's attention and said the reason he dated me was because I was pretty , he continued saying I was nothing but a pretty face with no brain or character . That was just one of the many challenges I faced in Lorna .

That led me to become the person I am today ,the person who is feared, I don't want to be some pretty face doll people can toy with . I will never let that happen .

I heard someone approaching and got ready to attack , I turned and saw some dude , I believe his name was Nathan , he was quite muscular for a teenager, he had a tanned skin tone and naturally curly hair , he looked good . He came up to me and introduced himself .

Nathan : oh hey, I didn't think anyone would have found this place , names Nathan

Layla : Layla ,wait what do you mean you didn't think anyone would find this place , you found it earlier ?

Nathan : yeah , I couldn't sleep last night so explored the forest , I found this place and decided to comeback the next day ,which is today .

My mouth made and "O" shape as I decided to seat on the huge rock I was on and admire the view In front of me . A comfortable silence washed over us as Nathan decided to stay . It was nice honestly , but he just had to ruin the mood

Nathan : so what are your Powers ?

Layla : tiger based

Unlike others who would explain what they can do with their powers , I prefer to keep it too myself, you never know if the person you tell is an enemy , if it is , then you just told your enemy your Powers and capabilities. A bad move.

Nathan : oh , I'm a cross breed

A cross breed , Cross breeds are extremely rare , I'm honestly shocked and I think he noticed my shocked state when he Chuckled , I was embarrassed and couldn't help but blush.

Nathan : I have cheetah and tiger based powers , similar to you but I have an advantage in agility and speed .

It was silent once again .

Nathan : I'm heading back to the campsite, don't take too long , the others might get worried, it was nice meeting you Layla .

He then left and I was alone again and for some reason ..........I missed his presence .

Sorry if this felt like a filler but I wanted you guys go know Nathan , Layla and Ethan better , next will be Lisa , Anna , Aaron and Yara
