AUTHOR'S P.O.V
The longer Logan stays in the tree , the more impatient Kim gets , but knowing that her powers aren't as good in air or Anywhere that's not on the ground, she fights the urge to go after him . But from the looks of it , she's about to break
Kim: I'm giving you one last chance , COME DOWN HERE AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN !!!
Logan : and as I said the last 24 TIMES! no
Kim : that's it
Kim can't take it anymore and makes a mighty leap towards Logan , she readys her right leg for a kick that will surely do some damage to Logan . Logan gets anxious and tries to avoid it , but sadly , his leg gets stuck I between two branches , restricting him from flying away .
He starts thinking about what he can do , but in his scared state , he can't think straight . He raises his arms and covers himself , he knows that it's not going to be able to stop her kick , but it will minimize the damage he will receive .
Logan closes his eyes and braces himself for the impact , only to feel nothing , absolutely nothing .
Chloe arrives only to be shocked by what she's looking at ................... Logan stopped Kim's kick .
Logan opens his eyes , to be greeted by a blue force Field protecting him . Kim's foot had hit the force Field and she's still in the same position , the disbelief on her face is undeniable. Kim applies more pressure onto the force Field, with one more kick from her Left leg , how she's still in the air , no one knows , but once again no effect .
Kim pushes herself off the force Field, does a flip to show off her acrobatic skills and lands gracefully , her face still in disbelief .
*RINGGGGGG*
A loud siren rings , surprising everyone , Logan's force Field disappears and both commander Mayson and uncle Simon appear
Commander Mayson : congratulations! Logan , Chloe and Adrian , you guys win!! ( He said with a genuine smile , once again, everyone was surprised )
Commander mayson : what , I can smile too
But then it hits Kim, she looks towards the flag pole only to see Adrian leaning on it with her teams flag in her hands .
Kim : wait , but how ...............
Chloe walks over to Kim
Chloe : see when I left , I went to find Adrian ..........
FLASHBACK
Adrian : wait .......................... I've been meaning to ask , who are you?
Chloe smirks
Chloe: that's a story for another time ( she said going from a mischievous smirk to a genuine smile that can light up a whole room )
Chloe : here's what's going on , Logan is keeping Kim busy , I don't know how long he can hold her off though , so we need to hurry and get the other teams flag
Adrian : whose Kim?
Chloe : the girl who who kicked you
Adrian : that bi**h!
Chloe : hey , hey , hey , that so called bi**h is my best friend , show some respect she's older than you .
Adrian : she can't be , I'm 17
