By the time we reached the end of our destination I knew I would need some time before we walked back. I lean against the trees, taking a moment for myself.

"Come on." Arosio says, making me stand up by catching my arms.

"I need some time." I say but he doesn't listen. "Why are we walking further up? I already saw the place. Aren't we going to return?" I question as he supports me with his hands on my waist.

"We will walk for a few more minutes then return." He says as if it's no big deal that we've been walking for a few hours now.

"I'm sick." I pretend as if I'm going to faint.

"I'm taking you to the doctor then." He says going on with my words.

"Arosio." I groan leaning onto him. He soothes out my hair with his fingers which are now cold as compared to before. The sun is no longer scorching. It's barely there. And the temperature has started to drop as the darkness approaches with each step.

"Only a minute left," he mumbles, "you're not a nice partner to hike or for any adventures."

A bark is heard. Kai agrees with Arosio's words. I agree too but not entirely because I do love spending time outside.

"You don't love me." I mumble idiotically but I don't care what he has to do about it. All that I want to do is go home. I'm exhausted just thinking about the way back.

"Wait and I'll show you how much I love you some other time." He replies, kicking a stone that was on the way. You've shown it to me all the time, Arosio.

"Bla Bla." I leer at him but he doesn't seem affected.

"I knew you would act this way by the time we're going to finish this." He speaks of his prediction. If he knew why bring me up here, so far away.

"Who said it's about to finish Arosio? We still need to return." I remind him and open my mouth, drawing my brows when the path becomes clear. That's not it, we are now walking towards a road. After a minute we reach the road and I look at the path ahead.

"Arosio," I whisper, grabbing his hand strongly, "Ask Kai to stop, there are two black cars in the front." I say, alarmed noticing the cars out of nowhere.

"You don't recognize our cars?" He says. They are ours? I come to the realization that he had already asked some people to come here.

"Why did you call them here when we were supposed to walk?" I probe, now, the distance between the cars and us minimizing.

"Because I knew you would get tired and it's already past five pm." he says.

"We are going back in the car then." I tell.

"Yes." He says and opens the car door, asking me to go inside while he follows my movement.

The hours that I had thought would take for us to return were not what it took. It only took us around forty minutes to return back with the fast way the driver drove.

When I get out of the car the first thing I see is her.

Riana.

She is at the chair on the patio with her head down like she always has. I have seen her in the same place most of the time if she is not inside her room every day. She is going through something. I have never bothered to talk to her since I didn't know what to say.

Arosio bought her here by force and that is not right. He did say he would free her once her brother is out of the picture and that Antonio doesn't treat her right.

Ma is the only one who tries to talk to her or get to her and Ma seems to be the one person Riana doesn't instantly snap at.

"I want to talk to her." I tell Arosio and move to where she is.
