You could see people shouting hero loudly into the air. You felt proud of what you did, what you were able to do.

Amanda: Can you believe it Y/N?! They think you're a hero!

You: Yeah... I suppose.

Amanda: How are you not super excited about this?!  

You: It's about the monster that I just fought...

Amanda: What about it?

You: It's just.... I had the chance to win and I... I just couldn't do it...

Amanda: Pssh. Who cares! You used some super cool red magic to beat that thing up, and you won over the hearts of so many people!

You looked around yourself and saw people cheering you on. Most of them had smiles, while others had shocked faces. You looked at what remained of your victory and saw a small hole where the creature had landed when on it's back.

Mia: Amanda, Y/N!

Mia was about to hug both of you, but stopped when she noticed how injured you were. 

Mia: What happened here? And where's Kianna?

Amanda: I think that after the fight, Y/N and Kianna's parents went home.

Mia: Fight?!

Amanda: Yeah, you should of seen it. It was so cool.

Mia: What exactly caused all this?

Amanda: Long story short, it was just some rando demon.

Mia: D-Demon?!

Amanda: Relax, not an actual demon, but I'd certainly say it looked like one.

Mia: I'm just glad you two aren't hurt. But... How's Kianna?

Amanda: We... Don't know. 

You: That thing ended up crushing her before I could beat it...

Mia: I'm... Sorry to hear that...

You: Don't be, it-

Amanda: Yeah, don't worry about it. Besides, next time that thing comes back, me and Y/N will be sure to destroy it once and for all! Right Y/N?

You: Uhh... Yeah. We will.

Amanda: Great! Now, lets get you home.

You: Wait, you got flung into a building, how are you awake right now?

Amanda: For plot convenience.

You: What?

Amanda: I said you're right, my head does sting a little bit.

Mia: Oh, I can help. One sec.

Mia reaches into her bag before bringing out a med kit.

You: Why do you have one of those?

Mia: My mother says that you never know when you might get into trouble, so she has me carry one with me at all times.

Amanda: Gimme!

Amanda reaches into the kit, pulling out a bottle of painkillers, before putting them back in the kit, after taking one out. She gulps down the pill before coughing.
