Nai and Kimono

Kimono: Where, where am I?

Nai: You...

Nai ran at Kimono, but before he could punch her, multiple black tendrils wrapped around his arm and mouth as it started choking him. As he struggled to breathe, the tendrils let go of him as he dropped onto the ground.

Nai: We had... A deal...

Kimono: I... Nai, I'm-

Nai: Don't you DARE say MY name! We had a deal, and you broke it. You destroyed what little hope I had... To make her stop all this, to put an end to it all... I thought I finally found a host I could rely on, that was different. But you, you were the worst of them all.

Nai: You don't know what I've-

Nai: What you've been through? Do you even know what you've done?! You've summoned the true form of a demon that was attached to a fucking mask! You've practically doomed this entire world!

Kimono had no words. Instead, she held her arm as she looked down.

Nai: I don't want to talk to you anymore.

As Nai got up to walk away, Kimono quickly grabbed his arm.

Kimono: Nai, wait.

Nai: What the hell could you possibly want?

Kimono: I know that I've fucked up badly. But you told me you were an almight-

Nai: "Almighty deity", right?

Kimono: Yeah, that's-

Nai: A lie. I told that same lie to Y/N.

Kimono: Then, how-

Nai: The only reason I was able to exist in that void, was because I wanted revenge. But, now, because of you, I exist in this hellhole. Just agony and pain...

Kimono: Listen, maybe we can get out of this.

Nai: Get out? GET OUT?! DO YOU EVEN REALIZE WHAT TYPE OF FUCKED SITUATION WE'RE IN?!

Nai started walking towards Kimono, red lightning radiating off of him.

Nai: IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU THAT WE'RE HERE! YOU WANTED TO FOLLOW IN DADDY'S FOOTSTEPS AND STILL MANAGED TO FUCK UP! EVEN YOUR FATHER WAS SMART ENOUGH NOT TO BRING CHAOS INTO ITS TRUE FORM, BUT YOU, THE NEGLECTED CHILD THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO- GAH!

A bunch of tendrils had wrapped around Nai before glowing brightly. The tendrils then seemed to glow even brighter as a fire surrounded Nai as it burned his entire being. The fire seemed to die down as the tendrils retreated back to whatever hellhole they came out of.

Kimono: Nai!

As Kimono ran to Nai, he held out a hand to stop Kimono.

Nai: Don't. Just.... Don't...

Kimono: Nai...

Using whatever strength he had left, he crawled away from Kimono as much as he could.

Nai: Just leave alone so my existence can vanish in peace...

Even though the child had done so many bad things, hearing Nai say those words, the cage they were in, Kimono felt a wave of guilt flood through her. Instead of walking away, Kimono sat across from Nai, unable to do anything else to try to cheer up the boy.

Kimono: I... I know what I've done is definitely the most fucked up thing in all of history. But, I really am sorry, Nai. All I wanted was just to follow in my dad's footsteps. I thought that if would be able to lead the AMC and rescue him, that would be enough, but I knew it wouldn't be. So I thought that helping Chaos would make him finally truly proud of me.

Nai: Did a real good job at fucking that up, didn't you?

Kimono: Nai, I know that nothing could possibly make up for what I did to you, to everyone...

Nai: Why are you... being remorseful?

Kimono: I... I don't know... I guess being at the end of my actions made me actually realize what I've done. And I really am sorry, Nai. And I know that being stuck in here with me is definitely the worst option for you.

Nai: Well... It's not the complete worst...

Kimono: Huh?

Nai: I still hate you for what you did. But I can slightly see where you came from. I had family and friends that cared for me, but, after ending up in this reality, I lost all of that. And I wanted to hurt the one person who caused all of that pain I went through. I ended up striking a deal with someone very powerful. I broke said deal, and for my punishment, I was to either die slowly with my heart full of vengeance, or find someone who could help me get rid of that vengeance. I still haven't found them, and now, I don't think I ever will.

Kimono: Sorry that I put you through this.

Nai: You haven't told me what you've gone through to end up here.

Kimono: There's not much to know, really..

Nai: We're probably gonna die here anyway, so you might as well share.

Kimono: Alright, well, I might as well start from the beginning. I never knew much about my mom, only what my brother told me. He said she was one of the most asshole people ever, and that she gave me up to my father. But, I knew that wasn't true. She didn't give me up, she was killed... She was apparently a strong fighter, but when my father made the AMC, the two of them fought. She won, and took me away from the AMC. But then, my father found her when he had the mask, and they fought again. As my mom was hurt, my father said that it was either she gives me up willingly, or they kill her and take me anyway. She went for the second option. She had the upper hand at first, but then an AMC member held a gun to my head. As she went to save me, my dad shot his shot and killed her... He knew I wasn't going to join him willingly, so he decided to go for the safer option, and erase my memories of my mom... He wanted a kid who would follow in his footsteps. He was hoping I'd turn out like my brother, someone to be chosen for a relic. When I wasn't chosen for a relic like my brother, he resented me. I thought I needed to try harder, so I did, and soon enough, we ended up here.

Nai: How do you know about all this?

Kimono: I know this because of the bastard that's keeping us here.

Chaos: Aw, isn't this sweet? Two allies turned enemies turned allies again. It brings a tear to my eyes. 

Nai: I'm sorry you've went through that, Kimono. I still don't fully forgive you though.

Kimono: I know. Even with my memory gone, I still did those things I did. 

Kimono stood up as she faced Nai.

Kimono: If we find a way out of here. I promise to do better. To make up for the mistakes I've made. Will you help me to do that, partner?

Nai: Ha. Alright, ya doofus. You got it.

The two of them smiled at each other, making sure that Chaos couldn't fully drain away their will to go on.

Nearly 50 followers guys. That's so close to a milestone! I never thought I would even get this far, honestly. I get like a ton of people say that over and over yada yada, but seriously. I didn't start Wattpad for my stories to get read, I wanted to make a story I came up with when I was a bit younger. And when that story took off, I started making more stories, so uh, stay tuned for more I suppose!
