Bang

Bang

Bang

BANG!

I jolt up from my sleep from hearing pounds on my door. I quickly grab my pocket knife from under the pillow and hide it behind my back ,while keeping a good grip on it.

After I get close enough to the door I ask " who is it?"

"It's Angelo"

I open door enough for him to only see my face. "Can I help you?" In a emotionless way.

"Dinner is ready and you need to come down." He says annoyed and irritated. "Ok... give me a sec" I closed the door before he could respond.

I took a breath of relief and put my pocket knife in my back pocket, my flannel was big enough to cover it up. I took another deep breath and opened the door to see Angelo still there with an annoyed face.

"Took you long enough" he grumbled and walk to I think where the kitchen is. I follow just behind him at a good enough distance. We went down the long never ending stairs and when it came to the end there was so many left and right turns I was starting to get a little dizzy.

We finally made it to the kitchen, that was somewhat connected to the dining room that had a big enough table to have at least 30 more people. Last time I check there was 7 of them and 1 of me.

I didn't question it and just took a seat near the head of the table but not really. One of the twins sat down next to me, I think it was Jonah by way his hair is and the tattoo on his wrist.

I took glance around the room and saw that everyone was in their seat, except Christian. The food was then placed down at the table, and right on time Christian showed up.

"Los sentido, Tuve que revisar el último envío."
(sorry I had to go check on the last shipment)

Shipment?

Once Christian sat down at the head of table everyone to dig in the food. They were serving rice and black beans with chicken and plátanos. It had been a while since I last had Hispanic food or eaten a real meal in general. For the past four years I have lost appetite and have not eaten no more than a meal a day. It all looked good but I don't think my stomach will be able to handle it all. I only ate 1/4 of the meal and just moved around the rest.

"Nova stop playing with your food and eat." Christian said without looking up from his phone. Everyone now at the table was looking at me and that's just what I needed seven guys making eye contact with a 12year old girl well that's not uncomfortable.
