N O V A
"So you mind telling us what that was out there?" Christian asked looking at Cisco and I as we're sitting in the living room with everyone else watching us and expecting an answer. After our little moment in the garden, of course they had to walk in on us hugging and they probably think we're dating or something. Which is completely wrong. They just happen to come at the wrong moment and started drawing conclusions.
"Christian it's not what you think." I said with narrow eyes.
"Oh really, because it looked like I saw a boy rubbing all up on my little sister, who I remember telling is not allowed to have a boyfriend but still goes behind my back and gets one. Then goes off and does gods knows what in that DAMN GARDEN!" He shouts at the end. I see his chest moving up and down as he heavily breathes through and out his nose with his arms crossed.
"We did not do anything inappropriate if that's what you're thinking. I was mad because I thought that Cisco only wanted to be my friend." I emphasized on the word friend "Only because for some stupid family business alliance you have with the Costa's. But luckily Cisco explained that wasn't the reason he wanted to be my friend. He actually wanted to be my friend because he actually cares about me, and he is the first actual friend I ever had." I was practically boiling with rage by the way I was breathing through my nose and clenching my fist so tight I was digging my nails into my palms. Sensing my rage Cisco held my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze which was much appreciated.
"Christian I wouldn't ever do anything to hurt Nova, physically, mentally, verbally, or emotionally. Trust me that's the last thing I want to do to her, I know I've only known for only a few days, but I want to be there for her. Like Nova said she never had a real friend, and well I want to be that first real friend." Cisco explained seriously still holding my hand.
Christian still kept his cold gaze, but I can tell a lot of thoughts were going through his head, like he was thinking about something in his mind. He turns away looking at the fire place where a painted portrait of a beautiful woman is hanging above it. She looked elegant and angelic but also fierce in a way. She had dark brown hair, honey brown eyes, and olive skin. If I was right this lady in the painting was the boys mother. I could tell by the features they share with one another.
My thoughts were interrupted by a sigh from Christian and back around to us. We all waited patiently for what he was going to say. If he says I can't be friends with Cisco anymore I wouldn't care because I would still be friends with him either way.
He looked at me than at Cisco and then back at me, then back at Cisco. "I'll allow it ." He said defeated.Him saying that made Cisco jump and fist bump the air before picking me up spinning me around like he won the damn lottery. After that he composed himself like that didn't happen and addressed Christian properly "Thank you very much. I promise to be the greatest best friend for Nova and treat with respect." He said and then for some reason bowed. Like what the hell?!
