Secretly Married

"Unnie,, you are very pretty!", Minzy said teary-eyed as she looked at me while Chaerin & Bom were assisting me on my way out.

I'm wearing a simple white dress paired with a cute blue sandal gifted by Dami Unnie. My hair was curled nicely while a beautiful daisy crown adorns my head.

Today, I, Sandara Park will be getting married in a secret garden wedding at the backyard of Dolce Vita.

A long sigh escaped my lips. Jiyong and I have been in a relationship for so long and as idols, our time being together is limited and we can't be seen in one place alone without causing a scandal.

Am I nervous? Heck yes! Who wouldn't be if you are marrying the G-Dragon of Korea?

While lost in thoughts, the door towards the wedding area suddenly sprung open and I saw our squad waiting and near the altar is Jiyong, looking proud and happy with that gummy smile of his and with eyes crinkling full of mischief.

Standing side by side with him is his best man, Choi Seung-hyun and the rest of his Big Bang brothers all smiling as they watch me walk towards the altar.

As I almost reach the altar, I stare at the man two meters in front of me. Standing on a white loose shirt and black plants is the devil himself, with his ash blond hair attracting too much attention. I can't help but chuckle on how random this day was.

Apparently, Jiyong has been planning this wedding for a week now and his bride was the last one to know.

It would be a huge scandal if the press and the fans found out about this so he had to be careful. It's not only his fans that would go mental but my safety and career as a solo artist might go downhill if this gets known to the public.

How he convinced Yang Sangjanim was the biggest shock of all. Chairman Yang initially opposed it but I guess Jiyong had some kind of weird convincing powers because here we are getting married. But only the Chairman, our family and our squad knew about it.

We agreed that it should stay like that.

Jiyong both talked to our families that we'll proceed with the wedding in secret. I guess they understood and trusted him. To be honest, it is really uncomfortable lying to people and to our labelmates and friends who had been there with us for years.

I must admit that getting married is overwhelming but I also admit that marrying this wonderful man gives me assurance and peace of mind. After all the ups and downs we have shared, knowing that we are bonded by faith and by law, I couldn't ask for more.

The wedding ceremony was brief and sweet. 

I suddenly heard  "Ikaw" in the background , my favourite Tagalog wedding song that Jiyong knows very well.  It was being sung beautifully by Chaerin, Minzy & Bom in Korean version. I stopped in surprise and was smiling like a lunatic as I walk down the flower road aisle.

Jiyong is tearing up already as I walk towards him. I wiped his tears and hugged him tightly, then I took his hand as we take our vows.

"Yowww, Dara yah~" I was startled when Top pat my head softly, I guess I was reminiscing for too long that I did not even notice that we are already surrounded.

I was suddenly engulfed in hugs as the boys take turns whilst Jiyong was just shaking his head, laughing at his brothers' antics.

"Are you okay?" he asked worriedly. Now, all four of them are looking at me with concerned look on their eyes.

I just smiled.

The girls then came one by one with tears in their eyes. It's so hard to gather them all together in one place but I am so happy that they are here with me, on the most important day of my life.

"Yah! Jiyong shi, you better make sure you look after our  Dara Unnie !" Bom threatened as she pulls me back in a bear hug that made everyone started laughing.

Looking at them, I promise that whatever will happen after this, this will stay a secret, not only for me and Jiyong, but for the people around us who have been there for us for a very long time.

Sorry all, I have been inactive for too long!  Work and COVID have taken its toll on me. So many things have happened and is happening with our favorite couple too in real-life.  Let's all  hang in there, this too shall pass.  So long as we believe, it will happen :)
